There are very kind staff members who helped me a lot. The food is good, and I prefer the restaurant on the 1st floor. We booked a good room where we can sleep to the sound of the sea.

Wanted to stay in a Bawa designed hotel, didnt disappoint. Really great atmosphere, good favilities and the staff, without exception, couldn't have been nicer. Would love to return

“It is definitely a hotel I would return to.”
Excellent location just outside the city of Galle. It is a very relaxing place with 2 superb pools and easy access to the beach.

As a family with young children, we were in the farthest part of the hotel and it’s not the most child friendly or accessible for prams. At check out we asked for help and it never arrived, which was disappointing

“Fantastic ocean views, large room, very friendly staff”
Lovely room overlooking the ocean, with a decent patio garden. Enormous bathroom / closet - impressive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well located - need a tuk-tuk to get into town ( cheap) but the hotel is quiet and peaceful and we loved the pool area overlooking the sea.

“A 3 star hotel. Overpriced.”
Bad breakfast. Things were missing all the time. Juices not good. Would have liked to see more healthy options like natural (unsweetened) yoghurt, müsli, vegetables and fruit. Some things were there sometimes but quality not so good. A selection of loose leaf tea is really expected in the world’s no 1 tea nation.

Simply stunning. Expensive for sri lanka but similar top 50 small hotels of the world are at least double the money elsewhere in the world. Staff superb. Location superb. Simply fantastic touches in the room.
