Indika, our host, was super welcoming and is just a sweetheart! The room had a perfect beach-view, including the sounds of crashing waves during the night. The food was super delicious and the daybeds were perfect for a nice beach chill out. Absolutely recommend!!!

Fake reviews on all platforms, its a mosquito breeding centre , Abusive owner, there is no sea view room, its just a small den, dont get fooled by fake reviews and photos uploaded on all platforms. Definitely not for couples, felt unsafe

Very nice and relaxed place to stay. The rooms are simple but comfortable and everything was fine. The food service was great, and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. They were happy to answer our questions, help with buses and transport, and even discuss our travel plans. They know a lot about turtles, which was really interesting. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend this place.

I spent four wonderful nights at this charming guesthouse and loved every moment. My room had a balcony directly facing the sea, with a truly breathtaking view. Everything was perfect – very clean, and the bathroom felt fresh and newly updated. I also want to clarify something mentioned in previous reviews: some guests complained that there were “no bed sheets.” This is simply a misunderstanding. The item they called a “beach towel” is not a towel – it is the bed sheet. Nothing was missing. And regarding the comments about the loud ocean: the guesthouse is right by the sea, and waves are naturally strong. I personally loved falling asleep to the sound of the surf. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming. Indika is wonderful, the staff are lovely, and the food is delicious. A place full of warmth and an unbeatable seaside location.

“Fantastic beachfront stay”

Fab location. Indika and his team were super friendly and warm. We felt totally at home. We were at galle only a night but this was perfect. The room was clean and neat and so was the bathroom. The location was incredible. I've never been so close to the ocean. The cafe lunch fish and prawn curry was yum and reasonably priced. And the cafe is just lovely to sit and have a beer and watch the ocean waves just 10 feet away. It's just a 10 min ride to galle town and tuk tuk are super easy to get. Very happy with our decision to stay here. Will come again if ever in the area. Tip: if taking the coast train from colombo the station boosa is just 1km from the guest house rather than galle which is 7. So good to get off here. No worries it you get off at galle. It's like i said a ten min tuk tuk ride. Little tip: go early morning to galle and walk the empty streets and see morning slowly unfold in the Town and walk on the ocean walk boundary wall. It's beautiful.

The room had two floor connected with strairs inside and had only one AC for the whole two floor. We were sweating because the AC was not enough to cool Down the room.

This place was paradise. We were lucky enough to stay 5 nights at Indika and it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel relaxed and welcome. We enjoyed breakfast, dinner and smoothies at the restaurant, which I would also recommend. The sunsets were phenomenal and the staff always gave us good advice for other local beaches. Galle is a beautiful place. Thank you Indika. We will remember this place in our hearts forever.

“Paradise.”

A lovely family, and a great location! It really felt like paradise! It was our first two nights in Sri Lanka that we spent here (I am writing this review after 10 days in Sri Lanka). We got greatest value for the food we ordered here, with an incredibly complete breakfast for only 1000 Rs (including roti, curry, sambal, omelet, fresh juice, coffee, tea). The price per night was relatively high compared to other accommodations that we had later on our trip - but still not expensive. The owner explained that it is very costly to maintain an accommodation directly on the beach because of the damage the sea water causes. And they really took very well care of this little paradise. Also good to know that you can book a very newly built apartment with AC and also great views or a room with ventilator. We had both because we were 7 people and we loved both!
