“Worth the price to stay in Galle”

Superb stay, worth the money. The accommodation looks just as beautiful in real life. The host is very accommodating and polite. Breakfast was varied and delicious

“A fair stay”

The bed was large and comfortable. We were glad that there seemed to be no mosquitos in the room. The bathroom was spacious, the roof had an opening in the middle, with a view to the sky.

A beautiful place surrounded by lush greenery. It was quite windy during our stay, which added a refreshing touch to the experience. The open-air bathroom gave off a very Bali-like vibe—absolutely unique and relaxing. The room was incredibly.spacious with a super comfortable bed. Overall, a serene and memorable stay.

The place is quite nice, in nature, with no noise. The owner and the staff are really amazing. They took care of everything smoothly. They provided an awesome, sumptuous breakfast. It is a quiet, old residence, and the rooms are big and clean. Everything turned out amazing.

“Pity we only stayed one night”

Everything was great, lovely (very responsive) hosts, beautiful accommodation, with very large bathroom, perfect breakfast. Our children loved the two cats, the dog and the peacock. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay a couple more.

It was our very first night in Sri Lanka. As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

Sister of this house was so welcoming me and had a little bit of conversation. also when i asked for the mosquito vapour the manager bought it. People there were nice to me. what even more wonderful was the room, with good facilities and special design.

The house was spotlessly clean. This place outshone a 5 star hotel chain we stayed in weeravila. It is beyond good value for money. Built in 1960, Dutch architecture and faithfully restored. It was stunning! We rented all 3 rooms. The mattress was sublime, just as comfy as in the UK. the linen was 400 thread count sheets (I slept so well!- so much so that I went to the actual shop he purchased the linen from). the pillows were so comfortable and just as good as the 5 star hotel. The bathrooms are genius, with the central roof open to the sky. I had a shower just so I could experience the beauty of the night sky. The bathroom was my favourite part! Everything I needed was provided including an adapter to charge my phone. Ashan, the owner, is very helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A mix of traditional and western. Eggs, sausages, toast, roti, curries, jam and organic fruits from the garden. The beach is just down the road. Many eateries and shops nearby. The location is perfect. I am definitely staying here when I’m back. Well done Ashan, for prioritising your customers needs.

The property was very peaceful and clean. It’s without a doubt our favourite place we stayed at during our trip. The washroom was incredible. We had a wonderful homemade breakfast. But the best part was the host, he was very nice and helpful, we loved talking with him. The pick me tuktuk are coming easily to the location.

Ashan was a lovely host with lots of recommendations for food, beaches and activities. The home cooked breakfast was delightful and the property was well kept. The outdoor bathroom was very cool and the interior design of the stay was great!

Exceptional bath room, everything is very clean, very quiet place, tasty breakfast, very friendly host. I stayed in 4 villas in Sri-Lanka. This villa was the greatest among all.

Excellent place, very sweet hosts. The place is at a very peaceful location. However, it's a bit inside, but it's not an issue if you rent a bike.
