The room is on the rooftop in a close, colonial suburb of Galle. It is walking distance to the bus and train stations , Dutch fort and st Marys. A lovely family made sure I was comfortable and had everything I need. There is a local restaurant down the hill that does good breakfast, lunch and dinner rice and curry.

We loved the host's hospitality and warmth, and the view from the balcony was amazing! There is also AC available for a small fee which goes a long way in the heat.

You have a whole rooftop to yourself !! It’s so pretty and you get a good view over the city and the night sky :) The owners were lovely, offered us tea in the afternoon and morning :)

All the necessary equipment for preparing food is included here. There is a gas cooker, rice cooker, kettle, cutting board, knife, spoon. You can see a beautiful sunrise in the morning and a beautiful sunset in the evening. At night, the city is beautiful. You can see Galle Fort, light house, railway station, and the sea.There is a very kind lady.

Be prepared for a unique stay. You need to be fit to stay here; the property is up the top of the hill beside the station and the room is three flights of stairs up at the top of the building. The room is on its own on top of the roof with an amazing view over the whole city The family are so lovely and we wish we could have stayed longer

Exceptional friendly family. I could leave a small bag there one day earlier and could check in a bit earlier. My toom was more an appartement on the rooftop with great view. 15 minutes to the Fort. Supermarket not far!

Nice roof top room kitchen included,with a nice view on ocean sunset. Bit hot in the day but comfortable with fan snd icean breeze. Host real Srilankan family very welcoming,offering tea and fruits every day. I would go back anytime for longer stay at good price

Great location, close to the station and Galle Fort. A beautiful view from the terrace, where birds perch and even monkeys pass by. A comfortable air-conditioned room with a small kitchenette and a large, comfortable bed. But above all, very nice, hospitable hosts. It was a short but nice stay. Thank you!

Breakfast wasn't included but I was given a cup of tea. The position of the room on the roof was perfect for views of the town and sea. The hosts were very helpful.

From the terrace of the room, you have views of the ocean and the fort. The guesthouse is located at a short distance from these sights. Moreover, you have direct contact with a singhalese family.

Amazing guesthouse. The family is só nice. Got organic bananas from the garden and juice upon arrival. And the mother gave me tea in the morning, at 6am! Because I had to catch my train. So nice. It’s just 8min from Galle treinstation so perfect for train travel. Very clean. Oh and the view is I think the best you can get in Galle.

Super nice family and lovely stay in one of the highest places in Galle. Superb view, room has everything you need, that includes gas stove, table, chairs, efficient fan for hot days. I recommend!
