Serenely calm property. Tropical garden nicely manicured. Staff couldn’t do enough. No alcohol served, but staff happily went out to fetch cold beers. Close proximity to Galle Fort, a short TukTuk ride away. Has a sister hotel, Tartaruga on the nearby Unawatuna beach to which we had free and full access. Perfect combination for a day on the beach followed by exploration and dinner in the Fort. Can’t recommend this property highly enough. 🪷🕉️🙏🏻

Beautiful little hotel and setting Relaxing environment calming music played by the pool Staff so happy to help us they cooked evening meal on arrival. Lovely breakfasts every morning. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Arranged a tuk tuk to take us into town and around the beaches. Highly recommend.

“An oasis in Galle”

Serene environment. Beautiful pool, excellent food, great location and easy to get a Tuk Tuk to Galle fort without all the noise. Staff were great and were extremely helpful in particular Indika ( who also helped to arrange a driver to our next destination), Madusha and Lahilu. Room was lovely. Shower was hot and appreciated the fridge and tea and coffee in the room. I particularly recommend their Sri Lankan curry with all the veggie side dishes for dinner. The best one we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved everything. The room was immaculate, well equipped with a fab shower & constant temperature, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and were always cleaning, 1 of them even jumped onto his moped to pop to the shop for me. Breakfast was a pleasure everything delicious. We had their 6 curry meal on our 1st night and wow best sri Lankan food from our hole trip, they really took pride in what they cooked. Pool was great and refreshing. Highly recommend 👌

“A perfect oasis from which to base yourself in Galle”

Bilin Tree House is an exceptional place to stay. It’s perfectly located being near to Fort Galle, yet in a beautiful and tranquil oasis away from the noise. The welcome from the whole team was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, and you really felt cared for without ever being intrusive. The facilities are great, the rooms spacious, and the pool is great for a swim in between sightseeing. We ate there in the evenings and the food was perfectly cooked and plentiful. I have no hesitation in recommending it…it’s a special find!

EVERYTHING 🌟🫶💫 Bilin Tree House is this magical piece of colonial architectural paradise hidden away from the hustle and bustle. We were lucky enough to book the 3 bedroom apartment and it is incredible. The house over 200 years old beautifully maintained and the private garden was just out of this world. We had 4 children and we just absolutely loved everything about this place. The staff and manager are just the kindest, sincere humans… honestly if you can get a room here you are so lucky. It was only 5-8 minutes by tuk tuk to the fort and we loved being able to explore the fort and shops etc but come back to paradise

We loved our stay at Bilin, it was all good. The staff are just lovely and incredibly accommodating. We ate in the restaurant on the first night of our stay and it was my favourite meal so far! The hotel, pool and grounds are tranquil and very well maintained and the beds are super comfy. While not for everyone, the location (a couple of k from Galle Fort) suited us perfectly, overall a lovely space to enjoy Galle - would highly recommend - thank you. 😊

It is a small property with 7 bedrooms in total. Nice cosy feel. Staff were really really nice. Very attentive. The SL food was nice. Very comfortable rooms. We took the three bedroom option which is so sensible if u have one or two children. Wish more hotels had these kind of rooms.
