“A lovely place to stay with a lovely host”

The property is an old historic building with lots of character. The host was a lovely gentleman who had lots of information about his home and all the interesting furniture and bits and pieces he has collected over the years. The room was comfortable and large and breakfast was amazing and served outside in their garden. The location is excellent and is inside the old Fort in walking distance to everything in the fort area

Very nice place ! The host and his family are very welcoming, the house is a beautiful old duch house, idealy located in the center of the old Fort. The breakfast was also very good and we had a very quiet and relaxing night.

“Authentic and hospitable”

What an amazing and authentic Fort Galle experience.. the owners were as amazing as advertised and made me feel welcome from the minute I buzzed the doorbell.

The historic house is quite amazing! The host and his family are quite friendly and tried to support what we need. We really enjoy the days we stayed in Galle. Even we had to checkout at early morning, they still helped to pack the breakfast for us.

The house owner is very friendly, breakfast is very delicious, location is wonderful,near to the beach and center of galle fort. The house is charming and with its own character. When we were waiting for the driver, owner offered us tea and cakes.

What a wonderful old house in the backstreets of galle fort - so many of the old places have been gentrified into boutique hotels, this is still a family home. A great location with a wonderful host.

Beautiful old house, fascinating and one of a kind. Best location (quiet street but in the middle of the center of Galle). Lovely hosts. AC works well. Recommendable!

The property is full of character and perfectly located in Galle Fort . Kodi is a great host , full of knowledge and really helpful. He even drove us to the train station when we were leaving .

“Authentic homestay in a beautiful heritage property”

It was such a privilege to stay in this 400 year old heritage property within the charming historic Dutch fort. Full of character, history and antiques, this very large home is an authentic homestay, not a renovated hotel and we thought it was great. The couple who own the house are very welcoming and we enjoyed many chats with Kodi. The house is a couple of minutes walk from the fort wall and it was so lovely to walk around the walls day and night and the fort area is full of charming boutiques and restaurants. We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay.
