Location, quiet, pool

“Good value for money and location”

The location is good, close to the beach and restaurants and shops, the noise from the nearby street is not part of the accommodation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and you could see different animals while observing the forest.

“Bad choice for vacation”

The place is situated next to a very smelly drain and you have to pass by each time you go to the villa. Walls are made of paper it seems you can hear every sneeze. The breakfast was very poor, same food every day and mostly only bread, nothing else, they don't even cut fruits properly. The staff was trying to grab money at every opportunity for any little thing we asked, on top of that you need to pay everything in cash, when we asked to pay by card we got an Australian bank account,not sri-lankan,which was very messy to figure out with the bank commissions we faced. And the worst thing is how we lived next to the party animal neighbors who didn't allow us to sleep properly for 3 nights in a row, and only at the very end the staff finally talked to them after we complained, so we would never book this villa ever again. It was a bad choice which ruined our vacation.

We had a great visit! Located a short walk from the mainstreet with all the restaurants, but still quiet and peacefull. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff and a lovely greeting whit a beautiful cake on arrival as we celebrated our honey moon. We could not wish for more!

We had a fabulous time at this place. The host's are extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. We would love to go back there one day.

Beautiful garden, view of the jungle, sometimes you can see monkeys and unusual birds. The staff monitors the garden and the pool. We also bought breakfasts, they were hearty and tasty. As a farewell, the owner gave a small gift. Another plus is the location of the hotel, on the main street, while the villa is very quiet. In 1-2 minutes you will get to all the cafes, and in 5 minutes to the beach

Quiet location just off the tourist road near restaurants and beach. Pool was nice to have a dip in at the end of the day. Free safety deposit box. Replenished tea and coffee on request.

“Wonderful”

Lovely little place with a pool, terrace etc. The owners were so lovely, couldn’t be out in for you. I travelled alone and made friends here with the other guests. They brought breakfast each morning of eggs and the freshest fruit!

The staff is really nice and friendly. Breakfast is excellent and even the coffee is good! The location is perfect - close to the beach and all restaurants and still with a nice and quiet garden (and a pool).

Perfect and quiet location in the middle of Unawatuna. It might be a difficult to find but they will give you good advice about that. Helpfull and friendly staff, nice pool and they offer a good breakfast.

My daugther and her friend stayed 5 days at Nature Villa and absolutely loved it! Staff was fabulous, the location was just perfect: two minutes from the beach, yet surrounded by nature in an idyllic setting. the room was very spacious and clean in a traditional setting that added to the authenticity of the experience.

watch out for this hotel, it's a trap. the location doesn't match the one shown on Booking. no water. disgusting rooms with dirty bathrooms. the owner scares the police when you want to check out early. the case has been reported to booking.

Lovely and quiet as back from road but a very short walk to beach through the hotels. Very close to some great restaurants and cafes. Small pool perfect for a cooling swim.
