“Fantastic!”
I have been to many places in Brasil and I can say that Galinhos is really a hidden gem. The village lays on a sand bank where you can get only by boat, there are no cars in Galinhos. For kiters it's a dream spot. I have been to every single spot in Cearà/ Piaui (Jeri, Barra Grande, Ilha do Gua, you name it) and ... Galinhos beats them all ! There is a variety of spots, with weaves or flat water and probably the biggest shallow water area in Brasil ! During the wind season the wind is strong and constant. What can you ask more? The location of the hotel directly on the beach vis à vis the harbour is fantastic. No plot is bigger than this one on the island, so you have a lot of space to yourself. We stayed in a bungalow and we can highly recommend it. The bungalow is beautiful and cosy. The relaxation factor in this accommodation is huge and just the right place for people who like style and good food.

“Worry-free days far-away”
Amagali Pousada in Galinhos is a great place to go with fiends & family. Time is running slow in there Amagali has good infrastructure and enough space to enjoy it. Pousada is well maintained in spite of pandemic. Service was very good. Wonderful boat trip around the river finished our stay perfectly. Galinhos is similarly difficult to access and quite "car free" as Morro de São Paulo (Bahia) or Jeri (Ceara). Minimum 2 nights (or more) stay in Amagali gives much better taste
