This charming, historic hotel – a former palace dating from the 16th century – is located in the picturesque town of Galdeano, at the foot of Navarra’s Sierra de Lóquiz mountains. Enjoy the Renaissance feel of the Palacio Dos Olivos, which has been carefully restored to blend its historic façade with a contemporary-design interior. It opens onto beautiful gardens, from where you can take in the fresh air, peaceful atmosphere and fantastic views of the local countryside. These natural surroundings, include the Urbasa nature park.

“Fantastic 12th century renovated palace near the mountains.”
We arrived at 3pm with my wife as it was recommended for check in . The code to access was in the message. The keys with guest names were on the reception desk - we took our key and self checked in. The whope property is in fantastic place and very well renotaved about 15 years ago . With great taste and high attention to details. We enjoyed the palace in total solitute - there was nobody in it. We even expected some ghosts to show up..... Mountan views and the valley views were magnificent.

“We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend.”
We loved the location. It is very rural but an excellent pizza place is up in the hills close by. Worth researching. We also saw some Eagles when on the way to have our pizza. We think the locals feed them We also embarrassingly lost the key to our room. The manager was very good about it and didn’t charge us. We had to let ourselves in as there was no one close by but it was all ok. It was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

Beautiful old property with great views. Ideal for sightseeing in the area. Not far from town with lots of restaurants. We were able to park our motorcycle right next to the building where it was safe overnight. Good breakfast available too.

“Great value accommodation for a quiet stop over.”
Great location, remote and quiet. Self check-in when arriving in the afternoon which was easy, if not a little strange as place was so quiet! Excellent value.

“A wonderful building with wonderful views hosted by a delightful lady.”
The lady that managed the property during the mornings was friendly and gave us information about the national park close by that we wished to visit. She provided a simple breakfast (coffee and croissant) which she was clear about on the phone to me beforehand. We LOVED the building and the view it had. Absolutely gorgeous. We bought some food from a supermarket 15 minutes drive away and ate it on the terrace one evening.

“Unique very calm Hotel with impressive views.”
Simple by inclusive breakfast was fine. There was also a nice restaurant in the nearby town to have an evening meal. I had to asak for the key code to access the hotel for late check in. View spectacular and the sitting room with a large veranda was very comfortable.
