Overview
This country hotel is in the centre of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park. It offers great views of the mountains. The Galaroza Sierra’s outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by gardens. The local area is ideal for hiking, mushroom picking and horse-riding. Modern facilities at the Galaroza include free wired internet. All rooms also have air conditioning, heating and a private balcony. Free private parking is possible at the hotel. An airport transfer service is available. The restaurant serves traditional products from Huelva. This includes famous Jabugo ham. The hotel also has a playground and a games room for children.

“Love-hate relationship with this place”
Very mixed feelings about this place. The things I liked I really liked and the things I disliked I really disliked. Starting with the good: big, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, beautiful views from pretty much anywhere around the hotel, lovely interior decorating style throughout the entire place, lovely space for breakfast and lunch, with big windows overlooking the hills and the forest. The parking place was nice, in spite of the distance from the main entrance. The lady at the reception was absolutely delightful, kind and always with a smile, provided me with all the info I needed for a day of hiking and was very sweet and attentive (cannot really say the same thing about the man who was at the reception when I arrived, unfortunately). The lunch menu is nice and diverse enough to suit every taste (but please tell the cook to go easy on the salt!)

The Hotel was good, very clean. Bedroom and bathroom were a good size. The bed was comfortable. Dinner was also good. I didn't ’t use the pool, but it looked inviting. Breakfast was sparse, only coffee and a slice of toast, but that may have been due to me not being able to speak Spanish. The hotel team were friendly enough, but may have been better if I spoke Spanish.

The huge terrace and landscaping was very pleasant. The bedroom was spacious. Good off-street parking.

“The lady who greeted us, cooked our evening meal and breakfast is a major asset to this hotel.”
It is easy to find. The staff are very helpful. It has a lovely patio, breakfast room and pool. We hope to return to explore the area.
