Breathtaking views and wonderful location. Private yet only 5 minutes walk down hill to the square. Particularly appreciated the fly screens so we could let the air flow through.

Everything was so perfect. Kostas and Efi were so friendly and welcoming and helpful, the apartment was spacious and clean and felt like a home away from home straight away. The views were stunning, the location was fantastic. Honestly cannot find any fault, we had the best time and were so sad to leave!

I almost don’t want to say how amazing this place is as we want to always be able to come back. Everything was perfection.

It’s hard to sum up all the good things about this place. The apartment itself was spacious, full of natural light, and stayed cool throughout the day. If you want it cooler, the air conditioning is excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the facilities were in great condition — nothing felt tired or worn. There were plenty of pans and cooking equipment, and with a large supermarket just a short walk down the hill, it was easy to prepare meals at home. We especially recommend eating out on the enormous private balcony overlooking Gaios — the views are outstanding. We spent many meals at the balcony table, watching boats and beautiful yachts drift in and out of the bay. From the apartment, we could also keep an eye on our boys playing table tennis while cooking dinner — it really felt like a home from home. The property is built into the side of a steep hill, which creates all sorts of little garden tiers and walkways to explore. You’ll find tucked-away benches, hammocks, a table tennis table, a barbecue, a patio with a pizza oven, and all kinds of places to sit and take in the views. It’s beautifully planted with herbs and flowers, creating a sensory experience everywhere you go. At the top of the grounds is a spectacular pool area with comfortable sunbeds, benches, and even a bamboo king-size sunbed — didn’t even know those existed. The communication from the owners was excellent, and if you need anything washed, the maid will do it on request. The reviews aren’t wrong. This was a treat for us — more than we’d usually spend per night, and we only stayed for three nights — but I’m so glad we did. We’ve stayed in some lovely places before, but this is something special, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Beautiful property located just above Gaios with a fantastic view of the town. Great location just a 5-minute walk into the town. Family friendly (cots available), clean and a fantastic swimming pool with shaded areas located on the highest level of the property. A real hidden gem for the price!

The most wonderful place we ever stayed in. It is a true paradise, the garden is full of Mediterranean plants. The smell of jasmine is everywhere. It was difficult to go anywhere else How nice we felt there. Beds were so comfy and clean. And we had a real good night sleep even with 2 young kids.

“Beautiful Bougainvilla in Beautiful Paxos”

Perched just above the Port town of Gaios is the gorgeous accommodation called Bougainvillia. We had a two bedroom apartment ( one bedroom and a mezzanine with ensuite) plus another full bathroom. Arriving at the property, the very first thing you notice is the beautiful terraced garden and the riot of colour. Then walking into the accommodation the next WOW moment is the fabulous view of Gaios from the huge terrace. The home is beautifully decorated with all the comforts for an excellent stay. We were met by Kostas at the Port and driven up hill to the property. Later we met Effie who informed us that we had daily house- cleaning and our clothes washed if required. The family have their home on the property and if anything is required, they respond immediately. Thank you Kostas & Effie for your hospitality.
