After travelling for 6 months in apartments and hotel rooms, Blue Horizon was great for us with so much space and the pool area was amazing. Lots of books available which was great for relaxing. We were lucky that we had the place to ourselves so it was really peaceful. The washing machine was not hard to find it was under the pool and was great to have this available. Ferry port is around 6 min walk away and the first restaurant is just 1km away - so it was the perfect location. The cleaner was lovely and really friendly as was the owner - a brilliant week was had, thank you and we hope you get lots of bookings throughout the summer months

The outside patio areas and the beautiful, pristine pool are the plus points of this property, together with the sea view. Inside - the only positives are the size of the apartment, including a large bed, and the bedroom has air-conditioning. The daily housekeeper was pleasant and efficient.

The location is excellent- just above Gaios harbour and within easy walk of dozens of restaurants. The outside space including the large pool have incredible views over the sea and are surrounded by olives and other large trees providing privacy and atmosphere. We stayed in the lower Olga apartment which had a comfortable bed, walk in shower in the bathroom and a small kitchen. There’s a sofa in the lounge and there are 2 tables with chairs outside which also enjoy gorgeous views.

Very spacious for two people and perfectly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities immaculate. The outside space was exceptional with different seating areas and a beautiful swimming pool with a view of the sea. The housekeeping was done every day. The location could not have been better for us. The staff we met on site were professional, helpful and friendly.

“A lovely Blue Horizon!”

Blue Horizon is a set of several villas in Gaios, Paxos. We stayed in villa Simos - a two bed villa with lovely far-reaching views and a private swimming pool. It is located not far from the Gaios Port - when we arrived we simply wheeled our suitcases up the winding road - it's about 15 mins walk up or 7 mins walk down. The villa was spotlessly clean, the Owner Simos - very friendly and welcoming. He checks the premises personally almost every day and if you need anything, he responds really quickly - eg we didn't like the white light from the reading lamps, and he immediately changed them to yellow-coloured ones. He even brought an extra floor-lamp. The pool is super clean - Simos drank out of it to prove :)) it's the cleanest pool I've ever been to! The scenery is beautiful, the location - perfect and very private. If you like to have a totally peaceful stay, away from the "maddening crows" - this is the place for you. (NB - you do hear boats arriving to the Port occasionally on the background but they are a very natural part of the audio scenery). Thers is a lovely pebble beach about 10-15 mins walk away. Blue Horizon is located on the other side of the Port - not the Town side. So it's a good 10-15 mins walk to the centre of Gaios with its restaurants, cafes and shops. We used to walk every evening on the side-walk on the edge of the water, with all the lovely colourful boats moored there, have a drink, some shopping and a dinner in the centre, then take a short taxi ride back to the villa for 5 euros from the Bus Station. Shops are opened in the morning, closed from 2-6pm while town goes into siesta mode, then open again 6-10pm, sometimes even later. So you can have your martini, buy a couple of dresses and a necklace, then go out to dinner. Those who come from Northern Europe - be prepared for a totally different style of living!

A really unforgettable holiday. Excellent location with amazing view (including from both bedrooms) of the sea and mainland coast. Very quiet, considering that it is a 10' walk from Gaios. Vast terrace with shady spots throughout the day. The owner, Mr Simos welcomed us and was available for anything we could need. Cleaning lady came every day.
