Great accomodation which suited my family. All bedrooms are en suite, ground floor bedroom suited my mother who struggles with stairs, then 2 further bedrooms upstairs which both had patio doors leading onto a large balcony with great views down to the harbour. 2 sets of patio doors from the living area onto the terrace with comfortable table and chairs and swimming pool which was perfect for us. The house is located about a 15 minute flat walk from the new port (where the ferries arrive) we took a taxi as my mum struggles to walk any distance especially with luggage. Sophia the owner can arrange a taxi or there are numbers are the port. It's then a couple of minutes from the house to gaios village centre and to the harbour front with its restaurants, bars, bakeries and 2 little supermarkets. All the patio doors and windows have built in sliding fly screens (so no problems with mosquitoes at night) and also had shutters which we used upstairs which black out the rooms and gave us a great sleep. Anything we needed we just asked Sophia the owner and she provided quickly. Sophia was very friendly and twice gave my mum a lift as she was passing in the car. We'd love to return to Paxos again, it was so relaxing and we would definitely pick villa avra to stay in again.

Amazing location, super short easy walk to main port area - 2 minutes. The house is superb for families, multiple bathrooms, bedrooms and a pool. Super host - Sofia is hyper responsive and very helpful. Would absolutely stay again. Also off street parking for one car.

Staying at Villa Avra was like home away from home: clean, comfortable, and organised. A beautiful villa with 3 bedrooms, all en suite, a very spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area overlooking a large terrace and swimming pool . The villa was located about 100 metres from the sea, a few minutes walk to the nearest beach and close to so many bars, restaurants and shops in Gaios harbour. Sofia, the owner, was just a message or phone call away and always answered promptly. We would not hesitate to return to Villa Avra on a future trip to Paxos. Mark and Charmaine

It was everything we could have imagined and more. Set just back from the harbour front in Gaios it is peaceful but also close to the bars, tavernas and shops. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Including a cleaner who came in daily. The pool area is well maintained and great for relaxing in. Our host Sofia was lovely and very helpful. We would thoroughly recommend villa Avra.

so much space! lovely pool and outdoor area. we were 6 people and never felt on top of each other as there were so many rooms and areas to be in, but still feel relatively connected. It was less than a 5 min walk to cafes, shops and the main square.

“A place to stay in paradise”

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this little gem. The location is fantastic with restaurants, supermarket, bakery and beaches a stones throw away. The villa is just perfect. A home away from home but with a view and sunshine and a private pool😀 Our host Sofia couldn’t have been more helpful. We were having difficulty securing ferry tickets to Paxos and Sofia arranged for us to collect them at the port. She also arranged for a taxi to meet us at the port.
