Our stay at Posada Los Mimbres was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, Marcela and her family welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt at home. The atmosphere of the posada is peaceful, authentic, and filled with a charm that’s hard to describe. One of the highlights of our visit was the incredible asado dinner. Despite my severe allergies, everything was handled with such care and attention. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was thoughtfully accommodated without hesitation. What truly set our experience apart was the generosity and support Marcela and her family showed us. We were searching for information about my husbands Welsh ancestors, and they went above and beyond to help. Their kindness made our journey both easier and far more meaningful. The rooms were cozy, the surroundings stunning, and the overall experience exceptional. We are deeply grateful for the love and attention we received. Posada Los Mimbres is more than a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel connected, cared for, and completely at ease. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable stay.

Beautiful historic location in a peaceful setting on the riverbank of the Chubut River, just a ten minute drive from Gaiman. Very friendly owner, and great food for dinner if you don’t feel like going to the village in the evening.

Calm, cozy, away from town buzz

We loved this place. It is a lovely peaceful spot by the river full of flowers and amazing birdsong. The house is like staying in a museum. Lovely dinner. Owner and staff very friendly. We spent an hour or two after breakfast just enjoying the sunny garden in the company of the dogs and cat. Gaiman is a quiet little historic place.

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The property was like a sanctuary after a busy and tiring time riding my motorcycle from down south during the summer holiday season. The staff are very friendly and kind. The gardens were looking nice and a great space for children to have fun. Marcela, the host likes a chat which was great for me as her English is excellent and it was a great chance to learn more about the area and Argentina in general. The nearby town has a nice feel to it, like the locals care for and take pride in their town. Although I ended up having my meals at the property. The breakfast was well presented with lots of choices and fresh baking. The dinners were super enjoyable and had a wonderful home cooked flavour and presentation. And they were good value.
