The owners were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Very clean and they even left drinks and snacks. Surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars and walking distance to the beach and Gaeta Vecchia. Highly recommend

Michele was the most generous host, giving us lots of recommendations for Gaeta and even picking us up from the station and showing us the town on the drive. The room is perfect - it has everything you could think of, and some things you couldn’t. There are thoughtful touches everywhere and we felt very cared for during our stay. Couldn’t recommend it more!

“A cozy stay with great host, close to beach and old town”

The apartment was lovely and close to the beach and seafront. The host was friendly and had prepared beer and snacks for us. The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed, including a very useful washing machine. We enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop with a great view and sunshine. The host also gave us a 10% discount voucher for a local restaurant, which was helpful.

Michele our host actually picked us up as he was available to do so. He gave us a little tour of Greta and took us to the apartment where he gave us an extremely good orientation. Michele provided us with a lot of information regarding what to see, eat and explore. He was always responsive if we had a question. The apartment was vey comfortable with conveniences when away from home. Michele is a super host and we enjoyed our stay at Sorabellas. Highly recommended.

“A well-designed apartment with a beautiful rooftop terrace”

This is a very cleverly designed apartment. Although the studio is small, it has everything you need and everything is really well thought out, down to the storage space and the cool Murphy bed. Then of course there is the fantastic rooftop terrace again beautifully designed and a great space to spend time relaxing. Michele is super thoughtful (things like phone chargers ,umbrella, sun umbrellas , slippers are all there) and a very generous host. Bottles of water and beer, alongside breakfast items all supplied free of charge. And finally the apartment is the best location of Gaeta!

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Sorabellas in Gaeta during the month of July, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience—one that far exceeded our expectations. If I could give it an 11 out of 10, I absolutely would! From the very beginning, the kind and wonderful owner Michele made us feel cared for. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality began even before our arrival and continued throughout our stay. We had an amazing stay in Gaeta! The apartment was spotlessly clean, located right in the center and just a short walk from the sea — the perfect spot to enjoy everything Gaeta has to offer. The hosts were absolutely wonderful: they even picked us up by car and later drove us to the train station in Formia, which was incredibly kind and helpful. They were always available if we needed anything, and made us feel truly welcome. Everything was perfect — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had a fab time at Sorabellas. The host was super kind and proactive, while the place was perfect for two people. Having breakfast on the roof was definitely the biggest perk. Walking distances to attractions and amenities, we totally felt at home. 100% recommended!

“A relaxing water front stay with a homely feel.”

Our stay at the Sorabellas was perfect! Michele was very kind and welcoming, picking us up from the train station and driving us to the property. On the way we had a quick tour to see where all the recommended restaurants, attractions and beach access was. Check in was very easy and Michele helped carry the bags to the room with a run down on the amenities and how to operation air con/locks/awnings. All amenities were met, with additional beach umbrella for use and cooler bag. The room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed to sleep. The rooftop terrace is stunning, a great spot to sit down with a glass of wine and watch the sunset or relax into the night. Location was perfect only a short walk from the beach and Medieval town. Overall we were blown away with the hospitality and care Michele and family showed to us. We highly recommend staying at the Sorabellas for a visit to Gaeta and we cannot wait to come back again.

“Perfect stay!!!!!”

Everything has been perfect. The apartment is very nice, fully equipped with everything you need. There is a small kitchen: I didn't cook while I was there, but if you want to, you have everything to do it, including oil, salt, etc. The host also supplies the apartment with small items you might want during your stay (bitter soda drinks, some snacks, biscuits, water, etc.)... this is a plus. The apartment has a big and comfortable balcony, but the gem is the TERRACE - see photos. It is a large, fully furnished terrace (there's even a fridge up there!) which is entirely for you. I enjoyed a lunch and an aperitivo there. The breeze and the view (sea, mountain) were so exceptional that I didn't want to leave! What also makes this place special is the host, Michele: he is very kind and will do everything possible to make your stay amazing. He provides lots of information on where to go and what to see, and he is always available to supply additional information or help. You can see that, for him, it is not just a job but a passion, and he truly wants to make you happy! The apartment is perfectly clean. It is within walking distance (30 minutes) to the old part of the city, but there is also public transport if you prefer not to walk (I walked every time). You can leave your luggage on the day of check-out if needed, which is also very convenient. I will go back! 😊

“Fantastic accommodation and the best host.”

The Accomodation was fantastic in every way. The location was central and within easy walking distance to the beach and shops. The apartment itself was finished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. Absolutely everything you could need has been provided from lovely complimentary food, drink and snacks when you first arrived - including coffee maker and coffee pods, take away cups, bags for the beach, ohine chargers and usb outlets, toiletries, slippers, washing machine, pegs, Netflix… air conditioning was superb, electric shutters for windows and information about the local area. And then there was the host Michele and his wife who went over and above to help in any way, day or night, including help with train cancellations and transportation from Formia. I cannot recommend this property enough and wouldn’t hesitate to return. In fact, I will make it a point to.

“Fantastic View & 7 Star Service”

Great terrace with a fantastic view. The level of assistance from the owner Michele goes above and beyond. In the room you can find everything you need and more, everything has been thought in detail. Located in via Indipendenza the apartment is in the city centre and 15 minutes away from Serapo beach. The free parking is a super plus, especially if you like to drive around to visit some of the numerous nice beaches in Gaeta and visit the città vecchia. Amazing

Michele was just amazing, went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. Even when our own ability to find our way around was a struggle Michele was there to help out at the drop of a hat. Located on a historic street with shops and stalls - ideal for browsing. The seaside promenade with cafes etc was round the corner. The beautifully decorated studio apartment with balcony was a gem. Bathroom spacious - great. Hosts Michele and Valentina looked after us. Collected us from the station at Formia, and back again!

“Most amazing stay in my life”

I've slept in around 50 establishments so far and this one is definitely the best one ever! Michele is a wonderful host who gave us all the possible info about the town and its surroundings and also offered to show us around. If we had any troubles with finding something he was always there to answer all the questions. Just incredible! The appartment itself was also absolutely great. It's basically fully equipped to do anything you need! The fridge was full of little snacks and two bottles of water, also welcoming drinks. We had coffee, tea, olive oil and crackers waiting for us as well. I was happy to see plenty of fresh towels, enough soap for a couple of days, clean and working laundry machine, beautiful balcony. There was a TV with Netflix as well. New, working AC. Shutters in the windows if you wanna make it dark and take a midday nap. The bed was also crazy comfortable. Just incredible, for this price this was better than a Hilton hotel!

“Absolutely amazing”

We lover everything about the property. It was centrally located, and everything we needed was catered for within the apartment. The pull-down sofa bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts could not have been more helpful, they were absolutely fantastic in every way. We enjoyed the room with the wonderful roof terrace, beautiful views and comfortable furniture. The hosts at the Sorabellas were really, really helpful which makes a huge difference when you're travelling with a family. They were very responsive to queries, very flexible. I addition, our room was lovely and really clean with everything you need as a family. It was so nice. The communal areas (the stairwell and entrance) were also really clean and smartly decorated. The hosts definitely take care of their building and the rooms. The guesthouse itself was on a nice old street, nice and cool, with a few bakeries, a few mini markets, a couple of trattorias and some fruit and veg shops and stalls. It wasn't busy and it was quiet at night, no late bars or anything. Perfect for a young family. I would stay here again if I visit Gaeta again. I didn't take any photos of our room, but I would say that the photos on Booking.com are pretty accurate. Thank you!

Everything you need and more! Great location in the center with a big parking lot nearby, close to restaurants, bars, shops but quiet neighbourhood. The room has a perfectly equipped kitchen, breakfast and a cute balcony with flowers. The host Michele is the best, gave us all the infos you need about what to do and where to eat. Tip: ask for the bike rental, it’s the best way to get around in Gaeta. Definitely recommend!
