Overview
Set along Gaeta's seafront promenade, Hotel Residence Gajeta is a restored historical building in the centre of the city on the Tyrrhenian coast. The rooftop terrace has panoramic sea views, and private parking is free. The hotel has a private beach that is located a 5-minute walk away and has a free shuttle for it. Rooms at the Hotel Residence Gajeta are air conditioned and have a minibar, free WiFi, a 40" LED TV and some also feature a kitchenette. A private balcony with sea views also features in most rooms. A sweet Italian-style buffet breakfast is provided daily in the sea-view dining room. It includes freshly baked pastries, hot drinks and juice. The on-site restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine using fresh seasonal ingredients, accompanied by a selection of fine wines. Guest can also relax at the bar featuring a sea-view terrace. “A perfect weekend escape!”
The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The room had a beautiful view over the sea. Breakfast was delicious with a selection of homemade cakes. Perfect location halfway between the old town nd the beach, perfect for both. We will return for sure! Thank you Hotel Gajeta!

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the city centre, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. A huge advantage was being able to park in the hotel’s car park, especially as there are very few parking spaces on the street. Check-in went smoothly, and the hotel staff were very friendly.

“Lovely stay”
Location of the hotel was great, easy access to the promenade to follow the sea along into the town was ideal. Breakfast was good and offered both savoury and sweet options - cappuccinos and espressos were great. Room and bathroom were spotless, with lovely toiletries. The on-site, gated/secure parking was a definite plus for us, just be aware the spaces are tight.

“Nice hotel in a good location”
Staff were very helpful. Access to the private beach via a shuttle was a big plus. Very conveniently located for exploring the old town of Gaeta. Many restaurants within walking distance.

“We enjoyed the beach and some restaurants in Gaeta, but would not book this hotel again.”
The room was clean and that's it. No pictures, no extra cushions, no comfort, in other words nothing that would make you stay longer than necessary. The breakfast was nice and had everything we needed. Location was okay if you wanted to enjoy beach and the restaurants in the center of Gajeta; however, it is across a NATO military base.
