Our stay at Toropi Homestay was truly delightful. The property is surrounded by rice fields and jungle, far from the traffic and chaos of Kandy. If you have your own means of transport, it is the perfect choice for a peaceful and quiet stay immersed in nature. The owner is extremely friendly and kind, always ready to give advice about the area, what to see, where to eat, and where to buy quality souvenirs. Both breakfast and dinner were very generous and absolutely delicious. Our room opened onto a small balcony where we could sit and listen to the sounds of nature. This was the place where we received the greatest care and attention from a host during our entire trip. I highly recommend it.

Staying at this hotel was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Kandy! The owner and his family were incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made me feel like part of the family. The hotel itself was spotless and very well-maintained. It offers excellent service at a very affordable price – absolutely the best value for money in the area. I was also able to rent a bike, car, and even a three-wheeler at very cheap rates, which made getting around Kandy so convenient. The location is perfect too – peaceful, surrounded by nature, with the most stunning view and a calm, cool climate throughout the day. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some quiet time. And I must mention the breakfast . it was incredible! Honestly, one of the best meals I had in Kandy. Fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kandy .I’ll definitely be coming back!

It was the best homestay / hostel on our trip. Everything was available. Kitchen, terasse, dining area, big rooms, very good and affordable food. Hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful. Would always come back and stay much longer next time!

Above and beyond expectations and previous reviews were great. Beautiful environment, and a balcony better than any other we've found, superbly clean.owner and his wife are wonderful hosts, home cooked food was the best we've tasted in Sri Lanka. A dream place, we are already planning our return trip. We've stayed in many places in Sri Lanka, this is the best and incredible value.

Nishad went above and beyond as our host, taking us on unforgettable excursions to a local tea factory, stunning waterfalls, the iconic Ambuluwawa Tower, and several beautiful temples. These experiences gave us a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and rich culture of the area, all while avoiding the usual tourist crowds. What truly sets Toropi Homestay apart is the genuine warmth and kindness of Nishad and his family. Their care and attention to detail made our stay the best we had in Sri Lanka. Great location, you’re surrounded by nature and the garden is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and very clean, with hot showers! The family are so friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious (the best jackfruit I’ve ever tasted!). I had lots of bites from my previous location and they treated them for me with a plant from the garden! Highly recommend!

It was really pleasant to live in Nishad's place. It is a clean and hospitable guest house located not far from Kandy. Pick it for rural tranquility, it's a great stop if you want to discover Kandy city and area around it. There is a room with AC, fibre optics internet for additional moderate price if you need it. Home owner and his family are very modest and kind people.

Nice and clean apartment with big and comfort bed.air conditioner ,newly renovated bathroom hot water and fully equipped kitchen .the staff was very friendly and very helpful. There is nothing to dislike about it this place
