Very nice clean tidy place to stay. Would come agaim and would recommend for very good service and value. I was greeted at airport by Ismail who took me to Secret Escape and showed me around. Before I arrived, even with late booking only 3 days before, Ismail communicated with me to organise my trip. Ismail very helpfully also organised a recommended Scuba diving shop for me to dive with - this was the main reason for my stay at Fuvahmulah. The room is very clean and tidy, with good shower with hot water. Make sure you bring your own toiletries. Air-conditioning works well. Ismail organised a scooter for me- I would recommend for getting around the island - this allowed more options for exploring and different restaurants further away, although there is a shop and nice restaurant within 1km walk. I felt safe and room felt secure. Just as a helpful tip to some travellers Please be aware when travelling that hotels seem to like USD payment and I had not realised that cash payment was preferable. I only had rufiyah which is readily accepted in shops and cafes. Would recommend having enough USD cash to pay for accommodation and any other hotel organised items like scooter and diving. You cannot lift any USD on island despite it being the preferred currency for some places. (Being from the UK I could not understand this. I thought local currency would be preferred as it is in other places I have travelled).

“Modern, Clean, Affordable Stay! Great Wifi”
Amazing place to stay, the rooms are modern and VERY clean (the owner Shafeeu is a perfectionist, also very friendly guy). GREAT WIFI. Plates, cutlery, kettle can be provided, just ask! Place felt like home. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here, the guesthouse only opened earlier this year which explains the low number of reviews to date. It’s the most affordable option on the island. - owner picks you up/ drops you off from Airport - small grocery store 5 mins walk away, has all the essentials. - best beach on island 10 mins walk away. Good sunsets - It’s the other side of the island to “tiger Zoo” but the dive companies offer transportation (only 7 min drive). - Cool Banana restaurant nearby, recommend the Tuna Curry and Chicken Mango salad. - bikes/ scooters can be rented from guesthouse

“Top place for Fuvahmulah”
The location is super, the place is brand new, súper clean, spacious and really well organized. The staff is super useful and gentle. You are not gonna regret at all!! Súper recommended, I will be back in March!

“New guesthouse at a fair price with very kind and responsive host.”
All new sparsely decorated. Super clean on arrival. No place to hang wet clothes in the room but outside in the garden. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Silent and effective AC . Our host Shaffeu was always responsive and made a great effort to try to give us the best possible experience of the island. The location is great if you have your own transport and a motorcycle was available for rent at a fair price. Close to public beach for morning bath and sunset. Only a few minutes on foot. Quiet place

“Best Value for money accommodation in Fuvahmulah”
Super clean modern room. Comfy bed, great AC and roof fan. Bathroom facilities very good and lots of space. Host was very good. Super helpful and friendly.

“Good place to take a test after busy day”
Good location , very clean , big Room , friendly Staff. Enjoy staying at Secret Escape. Owner very friendly arranged transportation up and down which help me a lot (because I have a heavy diving equipment )

“Amazing!!”
I had an amazing stay at secret escape!! A really nice and clean room and an amazing host! Will definitely come back when I’m in fuvamulah again :)
