“Beautiful, romantic stay and great hospitality”

The lodge is a beautiful, quiet and romantic retreat. It's well equipped with an onsite restaurant and bar, two hot tubs, a pool and a grill area. It also has a nice common fireplace area to hang out, as well as archery and ping pong available. Each cabin comes with a fireplace, large bathroom, king bed and extra bed, desk and a balcony. Getting to and from the property is not easy without a private vehicle, so this is strongly advised. Reuben and his team, including Belen, Christian and Vale run a great operation and were super helpful during our three night's stay. Not only is the pickup point for the full day Macal white water rafting fairly nearby by car, the starting point for the Laguna Pinilla hike is also right outside the property. I strongly advise doing both activities- the latter also has an incredibly welcoming view for a 4 to 5hr hike of medium difficulty (hiking poles recommended). All in, this was a great stay and a nice way to get to see the Futaleufu area.

The location, the rooms (huts) and the facilities are just amazing. The staff is super friendly, caring, and have a lot of knowledge onthe surroundings - and the food we had at Peuma lodge (both breakfast and dinner) far exceeded our expectations and was the best food we had on our one month trip in the area

The spa facilities (especially the hottub near the small river) were fantastic. The staff was very helpful and provided personal service. The food (daily menu) was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Peuma lodge and we were spoiled by the attentive hosting team around Ruben. The lodge is beautifully situated outside town in a quiet pocket next to the forest and a river. We loved the hot tub and the hospitality.

Peuma lodge is a 4 star resort. Beautiful, impeccable cabins with stunning views. The main reception building houses the dining room, a relaxing lounge and has a large veranda with lounge chairs around a large hot tub. Further down there is an entertainment building with a large TV and ping pong table. Across from this is the massive sauna and another secluded hot tub with stairs to the river for a plunge pool for the brave. Sheep mow the lawn to keep to you amused. The beds are comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. The staff were all friendly, always attentive to your needs, quick to light the fires so your cabin was ready each evening after dinner. The breakfast was good and dinner’s delicious. 30,000 per person for 3 courses - 2 choices per course was reasonable for the quality of food. We loved every course over 3 dinners. We organised rafting from here which was amazing and was only a 15 minute drive down the road. I recommend scheduling at least 1 day to stay and relax in the hot tub and grounds. This hotel is a beautiful oasis off the Carretera Austral. We could have stayed several more days easily.
