Overview
Set within the medieval city walls of Füssen, the Old Kings Design Hostel offers individually themed rooms. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and free WiFi is provided. The hostel is located in a townhouse between the city hall and the Franciscan monastery. The Old Kings’s rooms feature elegant furnishing and modern décor inspired by international royalty. The shared bathrooms are designed in bright, modern colours. The hostel features an urban design as well as a communal area for travellers to meet. The hostel is surrounded by various pubs and restaurants serving Bavarian specialities in Füssen’s pedestrian zone. Breakfast is available for a surcharge. Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles are each only 5 km away and local bus operators offer tours. Füssen’s picturesque Old Town is worth exploring and the Austrian border is just 3 km away. The A7 motorway is only 3 km from Füssen and connects to Munich. The popular Romantic Road ends here. Bike rentals are also available.

I opened the room and the disgusting smell of sweat and stinky socks didn't allow me to go to the room. So I decided to take sleep in the cafe.

The check-in was so damn easy as everything is automated and the code was sent well beforehand. Room was very clean and is ideal for short and sudden stays. Would definitely recommend if you happen to visit Füssen!

“Clean, cheap, basic hostel in a fantastic location”
great location in a quiet back street of the old town. the hostel was clean, as was the bedding. Perhaps the cheapest place in Fussen, so it's great for people on a budget. The self-check-in means you can arrive at a very late time, without the need for staff. It's only an eight-minute walk from the train station and just five minutes from a supermarket.

Great central location. Good communication with clear instructions. Easy self check in. Clean. A small (self service) bistro on the ground floor. This is a self-everything hostel. You do everything in a self service style. This can be positive or negative, it depends. In the morning, during breakfast time, somebody is around.

It has an excellent location and it is in a very nice medievel style Füssen house. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very comfortable, coffe was delicious.
