The location was great, 5 minutes from the city centre. The room was small but comfortable and had all needed amenities: towels, hair drier, blankets... The staff was very helpful with tips for the city and surroundings. They also had bikes for rental which were well-maintained and inexpensive. The kitchen had a shared fridge and was practical for breakfast. All in all, great stay.

Heater shower was not readily available and accessible. Quite frustrating to wait for almost an hour before the hotel turn on the main electric heater (which was not accessible to guests). It was late at night for us during our honeymoon, about 10 + pm and we had to keep testing the water to see if hot water is there because the hotel staff was not available to assist. Instead we were given wrong instructions to turn on the heater for the room, which had no connection to the shower heater. Wasted time and energy. We stayed 2 nights but there was no service given to clean the room or make the bed or clear the dustbin.

“Good location, clean and new.”
Very good location, only take 10mins to walk to the very center of the town, and 5mins walk there is a big supermarket. The room is small but cozy, all the facilities are very new, room is very clean, drive for 10mins to arrive at the new swancastle.

They told me they would give me a nice room. That's how it was, a beautiful room. Probably recently decorated, large, with a living room area, a coffe table,an office tabel. Simple but everything beautiful. Mug for hot water, coffee and tea. Well equipped bathroom, cleanlinnes, good bed, parking. Very friendly staff.

Location was perfect. It’s a small family company and they want to keep the prices low compared to the other hotels in the area. We could see their castle from our balcony. Cheap private parking.

Beautiful room with lovely outside courtyard to see the stars. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Our previous hotel was horrible, but this hotel made up for it with a lovely experience. Thank you for a great room, highly recommended

“Great value and location”
Good location, simple room, just what you need when your goal is hiking. The staff was happy to answer questions. There was a shared space with kettle for tea/coffee if you need it. Grocery store was really close, city center as well. Ample parking for the car. Great value for the money
