The room didn't indicate how many restrooms there were for 5 ppl. Therefore, we only realised there's only 1 toilet and 1 shower room in a 5 ppl's room. Not to mention the shower has no door.

The Hotel Sonne was probably the best Hotel we stayed in during our 5 weeks away!! The rooms were great, beds super comfy, the location was terrific as close to the train station and backed onto the town centre but the real surprise was the restaurant and its breakfast! Definitely get breakfast included as OMG there was everything to choose from! Loved it.

The room was very nice, with a huge shower and a very comfortable bed. We had the lunch at the restaurant, food quality was excelllent at a very good price, and our waiter was really friendly. Breakfast and all the staff were excellent too. We will come here again next time !

“Probably the best hotel in Füssen!”
The decor of the hotel was to our taste and felt modern and clean throughout. Breakfast was excellent - truly! There was so much to choose from; from a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages to pancakes with syrup or the option of a wide selection of Muesli and Granola... coffee on tap (filter or something from the coffee machine both provided)... it costed 20Eur on the day to book or 10Eur when booked at the same time as our room. The breakfast area is more or less a separate business but is the main hub of the hotel, accessed directly through the foyer. In the evening this transformed into a bar/restaurant where we enjoyed some excellent food a few beers. The bar filled up quickly enough with locals and vacationers alike which created a very nice atmosphere for the evening! We extended our stay by one night due to poor weather (we had travelled with our bikes) and doing so was exceptionally easy. The offer at the hotel was naturally the same as shown online. We did this at the main desk and the staff were very friendly and spoke with us in english (although it's always nice to ask first - without assuming english is fine ;) ). As mentioned: we travelled by bike. The bike storage room was accessed via the underground carpark and is under 24hr surveillance. Despite initial concerns (because this was our mode of transportation), our bikes were safe with a bike-lock (not provided by the hotel - FYI) for a couple of days at no extra charge. The location is great. Füssen isn't a huge place so it was easy to walk around from our hotel's location - right on the high street. We made use of the sauna/wellness area for a short time, which was clean and spacious offering a steam room, sauna, and a Mediterranean (warm but not hot) room and a lot of places to lounge or sit and drink the water on offer.

“A special place to stay in a beautiful place.”
We loved the individual nature of the hotel. It felt special and professional without being corporate. The whole place (corridors, shared spaces, eating areas) was stylish and fun. The breakfast was fabulous, lovely staff, loads of choice, not rushed. Location was perfect for access (both coaches and trains) and runs/walks. Friendly and helpful staff.
