“Pleasant hotel near Taroko National Park, quiet and spacious, but affected by park closure.”
The hotel is located on the main road near the entrance to Taroko National Park. We had a spacious room with a view of the river behind the hotel, and the bathroom was also generously sized. Since the park is closed at night and access is currently restricted, there was not much traffic on the main road in front of the hotel. Parking is available in the car park next to the hotel. Breakfast was not included, and probably due to the low number of guests, the hotel does not currently provide it. Overall, the hotel made a very good impression and was a quiet and pleasant place to stay.

Excellent location for taroko gorge, which we enjoyed driving through even though the trails are still closed after last year's earthquake. Microwave in dining room area could be used.

“Nice comfortable stay at Taroko”
Amazing location only a few minutes away from the taroko visitor center. A few eateries and 7eleven around. Spacious rooms. If you are travelling alone and without your own means of transport, this is a very good and convenient place to stay at.

“Great location, just okay facilities . . and some ants!”
Location, Location, Location. If you're going to Taroko National Park, there it is . . right down the street. This was a very large room with two big beds. Lots of room . . . lots of ants. Some ants in the beds — a contrast on the crisp clean white sheets — and tons of ants around the bathroom threshold. (Only one big centipede, though!) Breakfast was a roll, a small salad with some ham strips and sweet potato, and coffee . . . that’s it. We never got to meet the host; the woman who was there most of the time, who handled the breakfast, seemed nice and the location, very close to the park, could not be beat. (There’s a GREAT restaurant about a block away called Truku . . go there!) The ants were a bit disconcerting . . . we would probably look for a different place to stay next time. (The place looked full the day we arrived so changing rooms didn’t seem to be an option.)

“Amazing location good value for money”
Amazing! Don't make the mistake to stay in Hualien you go there to visit Taroko so stay at the entrance of the park. Convenient small shop next to it with drinks and instant noodles. Amazing hiking trails just walking from the hotel. Amazing breakfast with stunning views

Situated directly at the entrance to Taroko national park. Bus stop right outside the hotel, one stop to visitor center. Neither positive nor negative: be aware of the remote location, not many restaurants and shopping options around, in particular after 6 pm.

This is an excellent place to stay just a 15 minute walk to Taroko visitor centre and hikes.I loved the great breakfasts,a different one each morning and good coffee.Nice,very quiet rooms with a good view at the back.A few very good places to eat next to it.A 5 minute walk to the 7-11 and a bus stop for the gorge shuttle bus is nearby.There is a bus from the train station to the hotel so its easy to get to. Totally recommended.
