Great… disappointment. I have traveled to this area for 20+ years and have seen the Porto Rosa complex worsen every 2-3 years. The same applies to Laguna Azzurra. Upon arrival, the person at the front desk was only interested in passports and charging the money. The hotel's main website shows a big picture of a swimming pool, however, the pool was out of order which we were notified of only a week before coming. The owner informed us that we instead have a very nice sea and beaches. It is hard to find a new place with a pool for 5 people on such short notice. The AC was only in the living room. It is known how hot Sicily is, especially for people from the north, and AC is a decisive factor when choosing a hotel. Both bedrooms were without AC (apparently AC from the living room was supposed to be enough, which was completely wrong as it barely reached the rooms). 70% of our vacation was ruined. Dirty in the apartment, and not cleaned upon arrival. In the kitchen, the surface for preparing food was 50x50 cm (part of the sink). For a family of 5, this is totally crazy. There was also barely any kitchen equipment (e.g. no large knife). The apartment had no bins to separate the waste, even though it was required to sort the trash, which meant we had to keep 6 different bags on the floor to sort it. We only received one set of sheets and towels for our entire 2 week stay. We managed to ask and get a new set after a week. Whether you go for 2 days or 2 weeks, you get one set only. The container of the AC that fills with water had to be emptied by ourselves, even at night, or it would flood the balcony. This was not written anywhere. Also, every day from 8 a.m., there was renovation or garden work carried out (e.g. trimming bushes with an electric saw that woke up the whole family) I love Italy and Italians, but the owners of this complex should be ashamed and embarrassed in front of their customers. The beach was easy access . The place was quiet and nice views at the beach. The host was very pleasant and helpful.

The rooms were spacious and clean, very easy for marina access.
