“Best host ever so amazing will definitely stay again”

Host was absolutely incredible a lovely elderly couple who happily drove us to the mountain every day without us even needing to ask. Clean space and all but the hospitality was enough for us to comeback asap

“Traditional Japanese”

A wonderful stay. The owner is lovely only speaks Japenese google translate is good. She drove us to the skifields on our first day. She helped organise our luggage return to Tokyo. The rooms were nice and warm after a day of skiing. The beds are super comfy. Will look at staying again. Shared facilities but never had to wait. The hot tub is perfect for aching muscles. Plenty of eateries and shops around.

Very friendly host, took great care to make sure we got in and out ok. Took our ski boots to dry, put the heating on for us when we were out.

We had such a nice stay here! The room was so cozy and comfortable. The host would always make sure the heater was on before we got back from the slopes which was so nice. Got utensils and fridge for breakfast. Location is good near lots of restaurants and a short walk to bus stop. The host made this stay even better by being very generous in driving us to the mountain some mornings, to get rental gear and train station without even having to ask.

I loved the room at this guesthouse, it had a tv, a very comfortable and warm bed and the bath was definitely a highlight. The hosts were very hospitable and even despite the language barrier they always wanted to help us out. We woke up to the ice cleaned off our car every morning, and our beds would get made and our pyjamas folded each day. We will definitely be back to visit this beautiful guesthouse!

Owner was lovely taking us to the snow every morning and turning on the heater while we were out. Facilities were very clean and comfortable.

“Best stay in Furano”

The owner was super friendly and hospitable. The stay was very homely and I enjoyed every aspect of it. There’s also free tea and coffee in the morning. The room was also big enough for 2 large luggage. There was even a nice hot bath in the toilet to soak. Room also had Netflix and the bed had a warmer.

“If you are a competent, well organised snowboarder, choose Natulux Furano to avoid hassle.”

Upon travelling to Furano and arriving later than scheduled, I unsuccessfully tried to take my snowboard bag up to my room to unpack. The communication barrier was not suitably bridged in trying to verbalise what the issue at hand was and how to suitably rectify. As an adventurer who goes snowboarding around the world, I wholly appreciate the traditional rules of Japanese accommodation, however not being able to take your one fully packed bag inside, to unpack clothes and other related items, voids the accord of the booked accommodation. Unpacking the bag outside in the -9 conditions was deemed unsuitable and alternate accommodations were organised. The stay was unfulfilled and unrefunded. The key was returned within 25mins of arriving. If you travel with just a well packed snowboard bag, I do not recommend staying at this booking.

We love Japanese Ryokan and this one was exceptional. The room was very spacious, there was a heater, a fridge and a microwave in the room. Love that! The host was super nice, she even drive us to the skii resort and to ni gle terrace because we couldnt find taxi!

The hostess was so beautiful and kind, always checking on us whenever we got home from a day on the slopes. She drove us to our ski rental place on the first day and even offered to drive us to the base of the mountain. She also drove us to the train station on our last day despite heavy snow. She turned the heater on in our room before we returned in the afternoon and there was always boiling water waiting for my coffee in the morning. We had our own fridge and the beds were super comfy. Great size room. Never had to wait for a bath or a shower.

The fact that they have hot water 24 hours a day, which you can dip in any time. So long as it's free from other customers. The bicycles are free for guests to use, and just a couple of streets from the property is a very nice hill that one could cycle safely and enjoy a great view.
