Overview
A 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from JR Furano Train Station, Minshuku Mutsukari offers simple Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can use the free-use kitchen to cook light meals and free parking is available on site. The property offers a free shuttle to and from Furano Ski Resort, which is a 10-minute drive away. To use the shuttle, reservations must be made at time of booking. The rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Slippers are provided for each guest and rooms come with a TV. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Luggage storage is provided at the front desk and a coin-launderette is on site. Japanese set menus are served for breakfast and dinner at the dining room. Mutsukari Minshuku is a 15-minute drive from Farm Tomita and a 10-minute drive from Furano Cheese Factory.

Very welcoming owner and proactive with the ipad to translate to my language. It’s a bit old fashioned but that makes it more charming. Hot bath, ryokan style beds.

The host is very kind and helpful though we cannot communicate smoothly…but he is really willing to help like giving me and my daughter a lift to the station, which is soooo helpful! The environment is quiet and clean. Lawson and another local supermarket is right on the opposite of the hostel. Really convenient!

“Warm Stay”
The host (Iga-san) was very kind and thoughtful. He took the time to drop me off at the Furano station very early in the morning. He was very accommodating even with my little Japanese and he makes sure that you have a good stay.

“Stay Minshuku Mutsukari....Definitely Furano traditional”
With 2 years old baby no problem!! The owner (uncle) he is very nice and kind with manners.. He try to explain house regulations... the house doesn't have air-conditions...Definitely next time in furano will come back and stay here again!! I love how they pay a very attention to every guest..

“Fair but the host is really very nice.”
The host was very friendly. I arrived around 10:00am. He allowed me to check in and put my luggage inside my room. He was so nice to drive me to the train station. He even drove me to the station when I went back to get back my luggage . He was extremely friendly
