Though there was a language barrier, the owners were super friendly and accomodating to our needs. The free shuttle to the ski resort was also a huge plus and made our trip a lot more convenient.

The hosts were lovely. They drove us to the gondola/lift pass/hire area at 8am every day and gave us bus tickets for the Lavender bus back to JR Furano station every day. It was a five minute walk from Furano station to accommodation: walk out of the station and follow the road that passes the station (south) for the whole walk. The accommodation is on this road.

“Great accomodation at a great price”

Futon beds were very comfortable! Room was spacious with plenty of storage and very warm. Free parking. Hot tub was very nice.

Property was solid, we had a good sized room for threee people and the shower was nice, had a bath. Good location if you want to stay in town right by the station.

We loved the more tradition accommodation and the rooms, our host was always available for recommendations for the area and very friendly. He offered a lift to the ski resort daily as well as a bus ticket home. Very convenient! This accommodation is also nearby plenty restaurants which helps if you don't have a car. And the train and bus station is about 10 Min walk.

The room is very comfortable and with a pleasant wooden scent. The bed and blankets feel very nice to the touch. The bathroom is comfortable as well.

“Affordable, comfy Japanese-style stay in Furano.”

Affordable Japanese-style tatami mat room with lots of extra cushions and blankets. Cool Japanese-style shared bathroom with big bathtub and lots of shower options. It's a pretty short walk from Furano Station and restaurants in the Marche area.

Very close to Furano JR Station and other sightseeing and restaurants of Furano. Quite good futon (ie: not too hard compared to other Japanese lodgings) and AC in the room.

Not far from the station, walking distance to restaurants and seicomart. Clean and comfortable place. Kind owner who provides 1 way ride to the ski station but you have to find your own way back after.

Love this place, Akiba san is a nice person and will do everything to help you. Located near the station, not far from restaurants, there's a shuttle service in the morning. Large and warm room

Location was great, walking distance to the train station and lots of food options. We loved the super close izakaya called Lantana - definitely book your dinners if you're coming during a peak time. We were lucky enough to walk in at the right moment on our first night here, but our second night here we had a 7/11 dinner after trying place after place for about 40 minutes. K-sports is a great place to hire your snow gear - they're super lovely, and they'll drive you to and from the ski resort AND store your hired gear for you over night. Across the road from them is Hostel Tomar where you can have a nice Japanese breakfast.

Hospitality was wonderful As a family of 5 with children, we love Tatami mat rooms, as we have some extra room in the day when the beds are put away It was very clean and tidy

The room is spacious and the futon beds were very comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities (sink, toilet, shower) were also very clean and availability was not a issue at all. It is about a 10 minute walk from the station and is close to many restaurants and convenience stores/supermarkets. The owners were also extremely kind and helpful!

Very cozy, traditional minshuku with good facilities for storing ski equipment. A simple location but walkable to good restaurants and izakaya in town.
