Bedroom was spacious. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. Each bedroom had their own heater/AC, so I could control it to the temperature I wanted. Bedrooms also included their own tv, microwave, and mini fridge, as well as a full kitchen downstairs shared with the other bedrooms. Owners are very nice and generous. Located in a safe neighbourhood, local shops and streets are very pretty and easier to walk down, just a longish walk to get there.

In general there were good facilities. The landlady (?) was very kind and even gave us some tea and bananas when doing our check in!

“Just so-so”
If you just want a bed, have no problem with shared bathrooms and toilets, and don't have high requirements for comfort, I think a night or two is so-so.

Big rooms for a small price. Its a little bit far from the station, but the lovley staff gave me a bike free of charge. I can really recomend this place and will most definetly book it again.

“Value in Funabashi”
Located about 25 min walk from Funabashi JR station in a residential area. (long walk if you have suitcases) Modern house with guest rooms on 2nd floor and family downstairs. Bathroom and toilet are clean and modern. Rooms are Japanese style with own aircon and TV. Host was kind and receptive. Lawson and drugstore nearby. Great value for 1 or 2 nights in Chiba area.
