“Very nice hotel but fell slightly short of expectations”
One of the best appointed rooms in that price range that I stayed in during my month in Japan. Benefited from a cheaper rate on a Sunday night.

“Perfect for a night in Fukuyama”
Ease of check-in. Great breakfast. All as clean and efficient as you'd expect. The great view was a wonderful surprise, and the breakfast was fantastic.

value for money was excellent because kids are not chargeable. rooms were well designed and cleaned. Amenities were not cheap. Breakfast was various and tasty.

“Hidden Gem”
Larger than average room with very comfy beds, decent breakfast as part of the price. Less than 5 minutes drive from the JR station and with adequate free parking, this hotel was a hidden gem. Although the staff spoke no English there was nothing that Google Translate and a smile couldn't overcome. We were the only westerners in the hotel, seems like this one's a locals-only secret, but it shouldn't be.

Great value hotel. Buffet breakfast has a large selection. Room isn't very big for 4 people but better than I expected, and beds are comfy. Receptionists are polite. It's not close to JR station but a good rent-a-car shop and confectionery nearby.

“It was relatively convenient and comfortable and I would recommend this location.”
Clean room, and facilities. The breakfast was average but enough for what I was expecting. The location is a bit far of a walk from the station and the main street where the majority of the restaurants are but it was manageable. My room was on the top floor on the corner and it is the tallest building in the vicinity. I was lucky to have nice views from my window.
