Overview
Boasting various hot spring baths and an indoor pool, Sansuiso Tsuchiyu Spa is traditional Japanese-style accommodation located next to River Ara. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. The Theme Park Of Cars Ebisu Circuit is a 20-minute drive away from the property. Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each room comes with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a fridge. The en suite bathroom has a bath tub and towels. A public bathing area at the Sansuiso Tsuchiyu features an open-air bath, spacious indoor baths and saunas. The property has 5 communal baths that can be reserved for private use at an additional cost. Massages can be arranged at a surcharge. A gift shop and drinks vending machines are available on site. The ryokan is a 30-minute drive from JR Fukushima Shinkansen (bullet train) Station. Fukushima Nishi Interchange is a 20-minute drive away. “beautiful and relaxing stay”
the view from the lobby and breakfast venue of the japanese garden was beautiful. i loved sitting there and watching the koi fish whilst enjoying a welcome drink. the room was comfortable and the private bath was easy to book and use. the public bath was also great and i loved the view of the fish pond from the open air bath. the dinner was great quality and the alcohol selection was very good, as well as the quality of the breakfast. the service was great and i would love to stay again!

It's a nice onsen hotel with a very tranquil environment. There are several onsens available in different buildings so it was slightly confused but they were all very nice! The receptionists cum multi-task workers are friendly and helpful!

Our stay at Sansuiso Spa was truly exceptional. The quality of the food, the elegance of the traditional meals, and the overall attention to detail created an unforgettable experience. Every member of the team was kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the first moment. I would like to highlight one person in particular—her name was Abe Moka. She attended us during a private dinner and again at breakfast the next day. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care were extraordinary. She anticipated every need, explained the dishes beautifully, and created a calm and joyful atmosphere. She was, without doubt, the best of the best. Sansuiso Spa is incredibly fortunate to have her on the team. Her service elevated our entire stay, and I sincerely believe she deserves recognition—perhaps even a salary raise—for the outstanding hospitality she offers to guests. Highly recommended. We hope to return soon.

“Perfect Mountain Hideaway to Relax”
If you're looking for a place away from the city that's nice and peaceful, this is where you should go. Comfortable rooms, a nice mountain view, plenty of bath options, and incredible food. Every included meal was well worth it. We had to skip lunch, the dinners were so filling! Staff were very helpful.

“Relax, Enjotmy, Recharge”
A really great place to chill for a couple of days and get a feel for true Japanese culture. The hotel is in a great spot, really quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed the private bath areas so we could just relax. Also the masseuse on the 6th floor is really really good...
