Great location! The overall setting of the room is the best we ever experienced. Each area of the room feels quite spacious and functional. The designer did a outstanding job. We were delighted when the hotel surprised my husband on his birthday with a handwritten greeting card, a complimentary cake and a cocktail voucher.

“A fine introduction to Fukuoka with subtle luxury and best views”

The view of mountains and sea from the hotel’s vantage was such a good introduction for someone who was in Fukuoka for the first time. The breakfast was really good, especially the Japanese breakfast dishes. I also appreciate the fruit being in the refrigerator rather than exposed. The sunset view at Genjyu was memorable. Ask for the best seat to view sunset at dinner time. Bay also offered a good view and the outdoor area is chill at night. In the guestroom, I appreciates how the wardrobe could be closed off with sliding doors and I always love a WC area all clad in wood! Genjyu’s kaiseki meal was memorable - subtle, umami and fresh; nothing over the top.

The view and decoration for the room and hotel space are really amazing. The lobby and space for dining are beautiful. I believe the designer for the room tried to make the best room for clients, including the place for in-room Bluetooth audio, which is well calculated for sound reflection.

The sushi restaurant and the bar in the roof are very good . All the staffs were super friendly . The temperature was really cold for two days and they passed out hot packs for guests on their way out.

Everything. From the moment we arrived in front of hotel, until the moment we left the hotel back to airport. Sublime service. The very polite lady from the bell desk even continue waived us good byes accros the street! That was really touched our hearts. We have been around the world staying in top luxury resorts and hotels, but we never encountered such personal attention and care to their guests! Simply amazing service culture!
