“Conveniently located and great staff, but underwhelming rooms”
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Hakata station, and in a very lively area of Fukuoka, with lots of shops and restaurants open late. The staff was great, very kind and helpful, and since the hotel is conveniently located, it remains a good choice for a short stay in Fukuoka, or if you travel with the Shinkansen.

“Near to perfect”
Stayed for 5 days. It’s very luxurious and the rooms are large. Bed is of good quality and the rooms are not too small. Service is not bad. Good money for what we get. I love the place!! Very insta worthy. Tried lamp lights hotel after coming back yamaguichi(1 days later). How I wish I continue staying in The Basics. Don’t change ur hotel if u decide to stay here. Near to a lot of Izakayas.

“Overall a good value and well located property.”
Great location in the central Hakata area and very quick to reach by taxi from the airport. The room was comfortable but we would have very much liked a second chair as there was space for one.

“Not basic after all. Comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated”
We arrived early and had to leave our luggage at the property, which was fuss free. Location was good (few minutes walk to Hakata station) and room was spacious (came with an illy coffee machine and quite a big bath tub ). There’s a microwave / oven and a small gym at the lobby. Cleansing milk and lotion were given at the reception. Overall, comfortable and clean hotel.
