Overall, the hotel is quite quirky and cute, especially the downstairs area. It was very clean and we had a small balcony.

The location is excellent. Refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, crockery & cutlery, chopping board, big sinks, hot and cold water availability makes the stay pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and convenience stores but still within short distance of the main tourist area.

Although very compact everything just got so well and was well thought out. Clean and tidy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the walking tour they provided.

“Decent stay, but overpriced for what it offers”

Our stay at the IYF in Fukuoka was satisfactory. The accommodation is good, but the rooms are small, which is standard in Japan; however, the price is quite high for what the hotel offers. It is well located, although not on a main street. There were always people in the hotel lobby enjoying games and conversation, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. It’s not great value for money, as the price is quite high for what it offers.

Lots of shops were very accessible from the accomodation by foot Even convenience stores where walking distance Bus stops and the Fukuoka Station was also walking distance Many restaurants, fast food joints, dessert shops to choose from that were also near Lyf Tenjin All the staff were very helpful, approachable & accomodating.

We appreciated the communal area for including the well equipped kitchen and lounge area. The room was tidy but the huge picture window made it feel light and connected to the city.

Exceptionally kind staff! The hotel is well located, the rooms are small but comfortable. Great amenities. Breakfast was nothing special while I stayed there.

It’s just like a hostel, if you’re not looking for that type of place to stay better find something else. Also don’t get your hopes up about the breakfast, you’ll be done in two bites.
