“Pathetic experience, please find some other property or it is good to be at home.”

Recently, I have made a booking from 19 March 2026 to 26 March 2026 in Fukuoka at Jam Hostel. When I booked through booking.com I have paid fully amount and it was not first time. I have made several bookings. When I reached at property, the lady who was there told me as I have made booking in girls dormitory. I don't know about that if it is they would have specified. It happens last time but the owner has shifted my bed automatically in mixed or Male's dormitory as its not my headache. But, this pathetic lady at Fukuoka, asked me to pay extra 20000 yen for 2 nights. Although, there were empty bedsheet but she has taken illegal benefits for the same as I had an important conference so I couldn't find other property immediately. I asked her to cancel my entire booking but the the worst lady told she will not give money back. Also, there were worst and pathetic facilities for that I have paid huge amount. I just want my money back that I have paid extra because it's not my fault whether it's booking.com or property illegal benefits. Also, blacklist this property. Also if talk about facilities, it's useless. Bed so congested, pillow like made of bricks. Wifi not connected in laptop that's strange, first time happened. Most importantly, the Vibes that's so negative and this is first time with pathetic experience and I have reviewed in my busiest schedule so that other people could save their valuable time, money and most importantly mental peace. Thanks

Location amazing, great storage space, lockers available and usable with large pieces of luggage. Staff is super friendly and helpful and kind.

The instructions were clear, the location is good for transport, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were pretty good. Check out was simple.

The location was great — really convenient for getting around and close to everything I needed. The place itself was nice and comfortable, but unfortunately, my experience was a bit affected by the person staying on the upper bunk who was quite loud. Other than that, I think it’s a solid spot with good potential for a peaceful stay if you get considerate roommates!

Location was easy to find, close enough to the station but also far enough from the main road so no car sounds at night. Staff very friendly and helpful, gave me tips on where to eat and not eat. They have a shared dining room where you can eat or hang out. Very good vibe.

Location is close to Hakata station. Staff was nice and they work with most common social network messenging services like whatsapp, line, kakaotalk and wechat, making communication easy.

Everything was great, had a really good time, really near the station which was really helpful, bathroom and room were really great

Regular hostel. dorm is quite spacious and locker are designed to accomodate suitcases.

Great that we managed to check in early around 9am, super helpful as I was already in the area, so I didnt have to carry out bags around all day
