Had a great stay at Hotel Great Morning! The staff service was great, hotel was clean, lots of amenities provided/can be taken at the reception area, and it was near the subway. Room was also really spacious, so you can comfortably open your luggage.

Lovely eco hotel with cool design within the rooms and elsewhere. Staff were lovely and very polite. Japanese breakfast delivered to your room was a highlight and really tasty food. We used the laundry service which was really good! Great location for exploring Fukuoka, which we loved.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Also spoke enough English to communicate. The twin room was big and spacious. Amenities kept very clean. Convenient location as well.

We absolutely loved our stay. The rooms were relatively spacious by Fukuoka standards, which made a big difference to our comfort. The location was central and convenient, yet wonderfully quiet at night — the perfect balance between accessibility and rest. What really stood out was the staff. Their warm smiles and attentive service made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The hotel has a thoughtful, eco-conscious approach that never felt restrictive. The room was calm, tidy, and inviting, with an excellent bathroom and well-managed housekeeping. From the soft jazz playing in the lobby to the subtle, soothing aromas in the air, every detail added to the sense of comfort.

Amazingly clean and probably the most spacious hotel we have stayed in Japan. Super comfortable beds and amenities were all really high quality. Well located from Tenjin and Hakata, with lots of great eateries nearby. Great atmosphere overall with friendly attentive staff. Absolutely no complaints :)

I love how the hotel practises its sustainability efforts and how spacious the room is (27sqm!). The hotel's interior is also very homely and cosy. The staff's service was exceptionally good too - extra bonus points for leaving our luggages in our room when the room was ready to be checked in.

The staff go out of their way to make every guest feel welcome, offering attentive yet unobtrusive service. The breakfast is simple but outstanding in quality, and the location makes it easy to explore Fukuoka on foot. We’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan, but Great Morning truly lives up to its name: calm, comfortable, and a wonderful way to start each day.

“Charming hotel with great service in the heart of the city cntre”

Modern yet classically designed Japanese hotel in the heart of Fukuoaka convenient for local transport, restaurants and bakeries. The room was spacious and clean, and although the mattress was hard we had a comfortable nights sleep. We were also offered a complimentary drink which we forgot to take up. Staff were very helpful and willing to advise what to do and eat locally. Loved the little authentic birdsong in the corridor.

Hotel undersold itself on Booking.com. Great environmental consciousness . Staff were uniformly helpful and efficient. Was tucked away in a smaller street but worthy of Main Street status
