“Good Location but A Lot of Rules”

The location is great - right in the heart of the old city and about 15 minute walk to the busy areas. The accommodation itself was very clean and the communal area was beautiful, all very Japanese and very well looked after.

I really loved my stay here. The cosy and warm feeling of the space. Loving the tatami style seating. The beds were comfortable. There are two showers and also two laundry machines with dryers. Its also in a convenient location near the Gion district and Hakata station. I will definitely be back!

The host and facilities, we were running late from our busy flight. Our accomodation waited past check out hours to check us in. Really enjoyed stayed here

The owners let us check in early as it was raining. They even brought us inside and gave us a cloth to dry our luggage off with. They were very welcoming and provided a warm environment to stay. The decor throughout is unique and interesting and all the facilities were kept exceptionally clean.

i was pleasantly surprised by how nice place was when i entered. from the carpeted floors to intricate japanese deco in the house. the place was probably one of the cleanest accomodations i've stayed in, honestly on par with high end hotels. the common area was a very nice open area for guests to mingle. i also didn't have any issues with having to wait for the toilet/showers as you could use both levels. the staff were kind and polite throughout the stay.

Common room was wonderful, met a lot of really interesting folks visiting the Fukuoka! Walk-in/step-in showers and bathrooms are outside of sleeping rooms, but private which was a pleasant surprise (only one person at a time!) Love that there's a curfew (12am which is more than reasonable imo) Location is conveniently near the Gion station on the Fukuoka Airport Line and a few minutes walk to Kushida Shrine and Kawabata Shopping Arcade which made it super convenient for food, sight-seeing, and shopping!

Amazing place to stay in Fukuoka! Close to the river and main beautiful places at the city center. The owners are so nice and lovely, and the place really impressed me: a small beautiful building full of details, all very Japanese! The kitchen and living-room are amazing and very well equipped with everything. I´ll come back as soon as I can, Very recomendable!
