Overview
Opened in March 2013, Fukuoka Hana Hostel is ideally located a 2-minute walk from the popular Nakasu area and the Canal City shopping mall. It provides free in-room Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and internet PCs. The hostel is a 5-minute walk from Nakasu-kawabata Subway Station, and a 15-minute walk from JR Hakata Shinkansen (bullet train) Station and Tenjin Subway Station. Fukuoka Baseball Dome is a 25-minute drive away. Hana Hostel Fukuoka provides a spacious lounge area with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available. The common kitchen includes a large fridge, a microwave and cooking stoves. Free coffee and tea can be enjoyed. Each bunk in the dormitory rooms come with a bed light and a personal safe. Japanese-Style private rooms are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding, while other rooms feature bunk beds. Towels can be rented. No meals are served at the property.

“It's a place to stay.”
If you're just looking for a cheap bed to sleep in, it's not bad, but there's not much good to highlight, either. The people I shared a room with were super quiet, which has nothing to do with the accommodations themselves, but if I'd shared a space with different people I might have felt less positively about the place in general. I mean to say, if I'd had noisy people near me, I couldn't really say, "But the place was so charming that it made up for the loud bunkmates" or whatever. The location is convenient and it was relatively inexpensive. The lockboxes in each bunk were helpful. That's about all I can say. Neither good nor bad. The lobby/shared space area seemed nice and there were always people using it. I didn't hang out in that space, but it looked like other guests found it comfortable and functional.

The location was super convenient, and I liked that it was in an arcade. There are bus stops, convenience stores, and the metro all very close by, as well as many restaurants. The reception staff were friendly and the dorm was clean and spacious. I would recommend staying here, and would stay here again!

The hostel locate at shopping arcade and surround by 3 subway lines which you can walk to. Check in-out is very easy. My room (single room) is large cozy and have private bathroom.
