Overview
A Japanese restaurant with a free Japanese/Western breakfast buffet, a public bath and massage services await guests at the Fukui Ekimae Route-Inn Hotel, just a 2-minute walk from JR Fukui Train Station (West exit). Rooms boast free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. An LCD TV and an en suite bathroom are included in each air-conditioned room at Route-Inn Fukui Ekimae. All rooms come with a mini-fridge and an electric kettle with green tea, and slippers and a hairdryer are provided. Guests can refresh with free coffee in the lobby. Typical value for money business hotel. A bit old but that's the common theme for a lot of hotels in Japan. Location is impeccable, literally next to Fukui station and opposite the shopping streets.

the location is near the station so you can move easily to take a train or bus for travel. the front staff are so friendly even with my limited Japanese language.

I like the ubication of the hotel a few meter of the main station. The room was nice for a solo person.

“Perfect location”
We had a short stay to see the area but mainly the dinosaur museum. This is next door to the train station so excellent location. Room was clean and simple. Breakfast was excellent

“Besy Business Hotel Option in Fukui City”
As far as business hotels go, this was one of my better stays, and I will definitely stay here again when hitting Fukui City. It is located with 200m of Fukui Station, right beside Toyoko Inn, but with a better breakfast and a big communal bath. Everything was as you'd expect from a Japanese "business hotel". They even had WOWOW on the TV, so I caught the Six Nations. Dead cool.

Only 5 mins walk from Fukui station. Room is clean and not bad in size. Breakfast had good selection of Western and Japanese food.
