“Does what is says, and the baths make it better!”

Dormy Inn provided a bit more than what I would expect a business hotel to provide. They had all the basic amenities, were very clean and easy to reach. The Onsen were really nice and clean, with all the amenities you need, which really brought the whole experience up for me. If you are trying to budget and don't care to have a special hotel, 100% recommended. Also loved the free ice cream (in the evening) and free Yakult (in the morning) for after the Onsen. And the manga library, if only I could read Japanese. They also have free half portion ramen apparently, though we didn't have that.

Fantastic Onsen

Amazing place with a very relaxing rooftop onsen. The distance to Fukui central station makes it a convenient spot for exploring. The breakfast is amazing with many local foods, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. They offer so many nice complementary items at various spots!

Outstanding outdoor onsen that was fantastic. Great facilities like free desserts after onsen and a relaxing/library area. Great pricing and near the station.

There was a little gift in the refrigerator. The probiotic drinks free in the morning and the popsicle after the public bath are little plus that makes the difference.

“An excellent hotel with a very nice public bath”

This was pretty much my ideal hotel! The room was OK-sized by Japanese standards. There was a very comfortable chair at the desk so I could work on my laptop. There were proper blinds that made the room dark at night. There was a beautiful onsen with a sauna, plunge pool, and two hot pools (one of which is outside). The location was also very good, within easy walking distance of the station and the castle, and also right next to the pleasant river. The free noodles were an unexpected bonus, even if I had to eat after 9:30pm!

Very comfortable stay. The osen is very relaxing. Free ramen at night time. Staff were friendly.

Breakfast was brilliant. They had seafood donburi, oroshi-soba, source-katsu, atsu-age etc. local delicacies. Hot spring was great after a long day of walking and exploring the area. The hotel is in the middle of CBD and walking distance from train (bullet, too) station. Would stay here again.
