I had a very good stay at Hostel Saruya. Although it was only a night, the experience was positive. The location is excellent, just step away can see the fomous Mt. Fuji Street. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and I would rate my stay 4 out of 5

“Picture perfect”
We loved this property. We stayed in a twin room upstairs- spacious, comfortable old charm, friendly staff and very comfortable beds. The breakfast at the linked cafe next door was delightful. Location is perfect and it was easy to get up early for this photos as it’s right there. It’s a great location to explore from and we enjoyed a visit to Bright Blue Brewing where they are doing some really interesting beers. We found a brilliant restaurant (51) just around the corner. With Mt Fuji looming large over you, it’s a very spiritual and a very special place. Highly recommended.

“Very pleasant stay in Fujiyoshida”
Very friendly staff, offering a great accommodation in the centre of Fujiyoshida. Very good hostel for trips to the mount Fuji viewpoints like at Chureito Pagoda, and away from the crowded Kawaguchiko city

“Great Mt Fuji stay”
This hostel is so warm and cozy and youll find the mt fuji by the street. Our favourite stay! Although we had to be very quiet because I feel the other rooms can hear us, but overall we didnt really hear much noise. We paid 10.00 overnight parking across the road which isnt bad at all.
