“Great stay with a view of Fuji”
Great value hotel with view of Fuji. We hired a car, the hotel had plenty of car parking spaces meaning we could get around easily. The room was big, and had a view of Mount Fuji. Lovely staff running the hotel, lots of communication via messages.

Very spacious (for 2 people). If you booked for more than 2 there’s a divider possible to split the space into 2 rooms. Since we were with 2 we used the extra mattress for extra comfort. Very close to Mt. Fuji train station. Nice view of Fuji. The check-in went smooth and the woman was very friendly. Other than that we didn’t see anyone during our stay. The check-in was “handled” by the cafe downstairs, not sure if there the same owner.

My friends and I stayed at Fujiyama Base for one night as we were passing through Mt Fuji. It has a small traditional tatani mat sleeping area and has enough space to fit a good amount of people.

Fantastic location within walking distance of the train station, with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji right from the window. The traditional Japanese-style room added a charming and authentic touch to the stay.

Very convenient location. In front of the station, in the center of the city. Very kind owner The room is very spacious and clean . It was not only a room, rather an apartment of 2 spaces rooms. You will find all what you need.

“Not comfortable. Staff friendly enough though”
Property was in a good local, had parking options and a view of Mt Fuji from the bedroom window. The room was also used as a storage area for all the cleaning supplies. Unfortunately it had a sewerage smell coming from underneath the sink. The solution from the staff was a can or air freshener. Hard to sort out problems in different languages sometimes, so we just sucked it up and slept with the windows all open as the smell was unbearable with the room sealed.

It was right in front of the Bus and train Fujisan station. We had a view of Fuji from our bedroom window. The whole apartment was in Japanese style. It got colder at night but the futons were warm, there was AC and a heated mattress provided.
