Everything was amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the experience of a private onsen was unique and the food was spectacular. Also, the gardens around the hotel are beautiful.

“Luxury, ryokan, comfortable, immaculate”

This was our favourite hotel of our Japan trip. From the second you walk in the staff are so attentive, we were presently surprised at the hotel and all the things to do inside, the zen garden outside is gorgeous and the dinner they provided in the room was honestly such a nice experience. The onsen on the balcony was the highlight of our trip and we just honestly loved staying here!

“A hotel I couldn't even dream of!”

This is THE best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so clean, the staff was so accommodating, and the interior was so cozy and beautiful. The view from the room was astonishing! And soaking in the hot private onsen is just the most relaxing experience. The dinner that they bring into the room was delicious, several courses and I it got me full and satisfied. The bed is extremely comfortable, they provide everything you need from face wash to hair clips in the bathroom, the room is very big as well. Moreover, I was never bored, you can take a walk in the garden, it is so nice, there is a river as well, just stand and listen to the water. In the evening there was a traditional show performed by the staff! And a bingo game with prizes! Also, there was a beautiful piano performance in a bar with dimmed lights, and an unlimited wine bar where you can try delicious wines!!! The public onsen on the roof is so clean and hot as well, with a perfect overview of Mt. Fuji, WOW. I will definitely come back here, it is the most amazing hotel ever, and I can see why they are at a quite high price point, but it was worth every cent!!!

Room is amazing, big, clean with comfy bed. And I booked a room with private hot bath seeing Mt Fuji, amazing view. The package included so many things, traditional Japanese dinner, wine lounge access with 2 other private lounge access. Breakfast buffet is good with various choices. At night there is a drum show and bingo game afterward. Services are marvellous, shout out for the staff from Hong Kong, love her introduction to the hotel facilities and made us felt so home away home.

“Great onsen hotel”

I like everything about this hotel. We stayed at a mount fuji viewing room with private onsen, the room is big, is clean. Staff are so friendly and explain everything in detail. The hotel provided a lot of facilities, public onsen with great view. You can have drinks in several choices of bars & lounge, there are also a drum show and bingo game at night. I had a great time with this hotel.

I stayed for two nights in the luxury wing of the hotel and was very pleased with my experience. At first glance, the hotel seems quite large, which might feel like a drawback, but it is more than compensated by the stunning view of Mt. Fuji from the private onsen in the room and the breathtaking Japanese garden — more like a forest — with many pavilions to relax in. The room was very comfortable with a great bed, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were very attentive and helpful. A relative downside is that the hotel is located quite far from Lake Kawaguchiko, and it’s not always easy to get a taxi or a bus to go elsewhere. However, this is manageable and did not spoil my stay.

Pure luxury, private Onsen, great staff, free use of facilities including wine, massage chairs, public onsens, rooftop onsen, and lounges. Mt Fuji looks magnificent when the weather permits a view.

Loved our room, with private Onsen and traditional dinner, served in-room. The view of Mt. Fuji was spectacular, once the weather cleared. The gardens are beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall a very relaxing stay.

“Totally overrated”

The view of Mount Fuji from the room (main attraction). Most staff members are very pleasant. Room size right for me - not too big. The onsen bath was very good. The shop carried reasonably priced souvenirs and food items.

Very clean and nice room. Great views of Mt Fuji, amazing dinner service. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and it's in a very central location but also quiet at the same time.

Everything. We liked everything about our stay. The in room onsen was brilliant, the garden on the grounds and the taster experiences were more than we expected. The food was lovely and the staff were beyond helpful. We really really enjoyed our stay and are desperate to come back to Japan to stay here again.

Exceptional staff who were so helpful. The gardens were beautiful and enjoyed strolling through them with Sakura still in full bloom! The dinner in the room was fabulous. To end the perfect day a relax in the private Onsen was wonderful. Picturesque view of Mt Fuji in the morning was perfect.
