“A Gem in Mt Fuji”

We had such an amazing stay at Asahi and couldn't recommend it more and would love to come back in the future! Sayuri was incredibly kind, hospitable and helpful in us planning our stay. We loved having access to the bikes to be abld to cycle around the lake and end our day at the nearby Onsen! The house was large and cosy with a great view of Mt Fuji (weather permitting).

The host and her family are so nice, welcoming and helpful. She gave me recommendations on how best to spend my short time in Fujiyoshida.

Best accommodation in Fujiyoshida!! 10 minutes walking distance to the iconic chureito pagoda, amazing window views of Mt. Fuji, big spacious rooms, fully equipped, all amenities available, clean, comfortable and cozy. Sayuri took such great care of us it really felt like a home and she truly is the greatest host by heart. Can only recommend. Next time we will definitely take advantage of the bikes. Be mindful that the bedroom is in the upper floor and you can only access it through stairs. The bathroom is in the lower floor so be aware in case you have mobility issues.

Perfect stay for us! We loved meeting our host who was very generous and was so helpful to make our time there special. Genuine Japanese accommodation. The bikes are amazing. Sayuri’s pick up and drop off was very kind. We were very comfortable here.

We absolutely loved everything! Our hostess is a wonderful woman who went above and beyond to help us. She provided us with warm clothing, gave us rides to the park, and recommended some amazing local spots. Her hospitality and kindness made our stay truly special. We had an incredible experience and wish this home only the very best. We will definitely be back!

Sauyri is a wonderful host! The property was placed perfectly for great views of Mt Fuji, close to the train stations, observation deck and free bikes to get to the 5 lakes.

“Phenomenal stay and hospitality”

I honestly couldn’t recommend Asahi and Sayuri enough. From the beginning, before even arriving to Japan, Sayuri made recommendations and answered any questions I had She has picked us up from Kawaguchiko, with a car that was suitable for our needs (we have two young kids). Sayuri even dropped us at Kawaguchiko the next day to make our day easier to handle, and dropped us off when we checked out. Our kids really enjoyed the time in the house. The view from the house is amazing, the location is easy to get to. 10 minutes flat walk to the nearest station, 10 minutes flat walk to the Pegoda, and it was just perfect. 3 rooms, plenty of space. Aside from the above, Sayuris dad was there too and he was very nice. I wish I could speak Japanese so I could communicate more with him 😬

Sayuri-san is an amazing host! Very warm and friendly and helped us with getting around and giving great recommendations. The house is spacious and comfortable and her family is very sweet. The Mt Fuji view is also spectacular and we want to come back!

Sayuri was an stupendous host! She was super kind and helpful recommending places where to eat or visit around. The house was comfy and has a spectaculars views of Fuji mountain from each room. Definitely we will come back :)

“A lovely property with views of Mount Fugi and an AMAZING host”

The host, Sayuri was an amazig host and so so helpful in all aspects from before we arrived to after we went. She gave us great help in how to get there, came to collect us from the bus station and provided all tips of where to go and how to get there during the stay. The property is spacious and has amazing views of Mount Fuji from the bedrooms. Our only regret was that we wish we could have stayed longer.

This was one of the best stays we had in japan. Sayuri is such a great host, helped was to find a place to eat, to book the bus to the next day. Her family is also lovely. The house is great as well, a beautiful view from Mt fuji. Comfy beds. Everything was amazing. I wish we could have more days at Asahi. We took bikes to see around. You can walk to a few famous places.

Sayuri is a lovely person and wonderful host, who took the time to help us settle in for the night and used her local knowledge to get us into one of the best Izakaya's we've eaten at this trip. The property is spacious and well appointed with fantastic views of Mt Fuji from basically every room, 10/10 would recommend.

The property is in a great location and easily accessible to all surrounding spots to see in the area. We used the bikes every day during our stay and was so very easy to get around.
