Good value for the money

It was a short distance to the Nishi-Fujinomiya Train Station and there is a nearby bus station as well. Walkable to the shrine and Mt Fuji heritage building.

Nice stay in traditional Japanese house. Very authentic. 15 mins walk to supermarket, 10 mins walk to town center with Fuji view.

Good location, staff is kind

Very stinky, everything smelled like cigarettes even the sheets. People were loud up until 1 am talking, singing, and stomping around. The mattress was extremely thin. I got charged an extra ¥1000 just for being 15 minutes late

I stayed here only one night. It was clean bed and bedsheets, toilet. I slept very well. Location is also good

The woman running the hostel was lovely and friendly and accommodated us really well. She was a lovely host.

It was very traditional accommodation with supplementary water you can use, also had air conditioning and a table. The location was very central, close to the train station and also tourist attraction 👌

When I arrived at Fujinomiya Station at night, this is the closest hostel to sta.and museum, it provided a private room with wooden flooring,but not tatami mats.The lordlady was very friendly,and she can speak English fluently,I shared the picture of Fuji mountain to her.

I liked the Single room with futon. And the owner was very nice.

Authentic

Super close to the train station. Very convenient to walk into the city. Exquisite back yard with beautiful plants. With all functions for cooking. Vey nice landlord.

The guesthouse was in a good location, near the train station and the bus stop. The room was cosy and the futon beds were comfy to sleep on. The place was also easy to find and the host was nice.

“Cheap, but Dirty”

It was cheap and I appreciated the private room. The aircon was a newer unit and worked really well. As long as you speak Japanese the owner was able to give good advice about the area and good recommendations.
