Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt. Fuji, this guest house is conveniently located just a minute's walk from JR Fujinomiya Station. There are 2 types of rooms at this property. Private rooms come with a tatami (woven-straw) floor and Japanese-style futon mattresses, while shared dormitory rooms have bunk beds. Towels and toothbrushes are provided without charge. There is a shared kitchen, living room, shower room and toilets on site, all of which are cleaned daily. Guests can use the on-site washing and drying machines for free. For guests who are interested, Tokiwa Guest House provides tours to see beautiful views of Mount Fuji. The property is only 10-minute walk from Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine.

Fabulous staff (especially the little dog!), extremely convenient location and a lovely traditional feel. I even had a view of Fuji from my room! I would absolutely return, and recommend this guesthouse to everyone :)

The friendly and clean atmosphere! Very homely and fantastic location, which is right next to the train and bus station, so it is easy to use the public transport or walk. The owner is very welcoming, and he has the cutest toy poodle, who is very smart! There is a shared fridge, eating area, toilet, shower, and laundry. Fantastic stay. Thank you

“Delighted and felt so grateful for such a warm and comfort stay.”
Overall me and my family are delighted. Four of us stay in a very comfortable house. The host is so helpful and friendly. The facilities inside was excellent. The bed was excellent. The toilet and bathroom is separated make it very convenient for family. The cleanliness of the house is superb. If we come back to Fuji, this is definitely our first choice.

“Home in Fujinomiya”
Very nice accommodation; spacious room, clean and just next to bus station. The host and his sweet little dog are so lovely. It was a pleasure getting to know them and staying at their place. Definitely recommend this place.

Family house with a lot of room. Beds were very confortable, and kitchen was well equipped. Great location to catch bus to mt. fuji (3 min walk to both bus station and train station). Staff were great.

Daisuke and Daruma were very sweet hosts, who helped us with everything we needed. Our room vas spacious, comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, which was great enough but on top of that Daisuke offered to drive all the guests to lake Tanuki see Mt. Fuji exactly at sunrise. Magical!

The room was very comfy. The host Daisuke was exceedingly nice. When I told him about my wet shoes he immediately gave my a device to dry my shoes. We forgot our toothbrush too, Daisuke was kind enough to send it back to my home place in Osaka.
