“Most incredible views of Mt Fuji”

The view of Mt Fuji literally seconds from the door! The accomodation was beautiful, a little cold however didnt take long to heat up. The 2 showers were fantastic!

“Great for families”

Had the experience of staying in a Japanese home. Similar to those you see on tv. Pictures shown are true. Hosts managing the place were able to accomodate my request to reveive my luggage despite my luggage arriving on their rest day. Rooms were spacious and can easily fit 4 pax each room Large bathtub and shower area for the family. There is also a second shower area. Level 2 had reading room which was cosy but we did not utilise it. Place was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but still within the vicinity of some shops. Kitchen was well equipped.

Our 2nd time staying here. We love everything about Goten Tomoe! The beds were comfortable, the apartment is big enough for 3 kids to run around, and everything is provided for! From toothbrush to laundry detergent to towels to cooking wares! We managed to try the adjacent cafe this time round. The staff are friendly and spoke good English, food is good, and the kids enjoyed running around the porch while waiting for the food.

We like this Japanese traditional house, the kids wished to have stay here longer, two nights are not enough. The tatami is so comfortable to sleep on.

A beautiful modern yet traditional home. We only had a short stay but recommend this for other family or large groups. Rooms were really comfortable and the main bathroom nice. We also quite enjoyed the breakout room on the upper floor. Daughter turned it into her reading sanctuary.

This is a 90yr old Japanese home. It has the character of an older home (rooms, beds, porch, windows, doors), but with the modern touch (toilet, kitchen, bathroom). The home is very well finished with traditional items but still very comfortable. If you are after a traditional home experience, this is the one to choose.

“Amazing villa with stunning scenery nearby”

This little villa was such an amazing stay! It was very cosy an offered a nice escape from our busy city visits. The blend of modern traditional and stunning scenery nearby allowed for a very romantic getaway. The tatami mats, futons, and sliding doors felt particularly authentic, however be careful if you are tall as my husband hit his head quite a few times! Having said that, access was extremely easy, and the villa even had a book full of recommendations for food and sightseeing in the area. If we visit Fujinomiya again we'd be delighted to stay at Goten Tomoe residence!
