Old japanese style house with futons and a great lobby to mean other people. Had a more traditional vibe to it and the host lady was so super nice and friendly and helped with everything

Absolutely unique experience of Japanese culture. We stayed in a beautiful house where the walls witnessed the history. We slept on futon beds to wake up in the morning for seeing magnificent mount Fuji from our windows. We drank the water coming from the mount. We explored the surroundings with short walks from the house taking us to some amazing places from where we could admire the mighty Fuji, the lakes, the beautiful town Kawaguchiko.

Great hotel in an excellent location. It was very convenient to get around and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were extremely caring, polite, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

The guesthouse is set up really well, with washing/dryer, kitchen, shared toilets and showers, as well as lovely loving space and 'experience' room where you can try oragami and calligraphy. The owner/staff member was so lovely and welcoming. Its also a fun experience to try Japanese style rooms for the first time. Location is great, amazing view and close to the lake for exploring (we hired bikes easily and spent the day cycling)

Lovely, traditional property that is well looked after and very clean. Great shared facilities. The staff were so kind and welcoming which we really appreciated! Location couldn’t be better, just an easy five minute walk from the main Kawaguchiko station.

The lady at the reception is very kind and provides a lot of information. I like old houses, here I felt like I was in a museum. I slept very well. From my room I could see Mount Fuji!

Very close to the station, the tatami bed was surprisingly comfy! Morning view was a clear Mount Fuji for me, absolutely worth it

The property felt right like home It is amazing. You have a general shared area where you can eat and meet other people and also try japanese calligraphy or origami There‘s also a kitchen you can use which is amazing, as well as the included breakfast and tea/coffee My room had an amazing view of mt fuji and was very cosy with heaters and a futon bed. the house itself is an old japanese house which is amazing to be in and be at peace with oneself If you‘re ever planing to stay at least one night in kawaguchiko consider this the perfect place to be! To the staff: Thank you so much for the lovely stay! I couldn‘t imagine a better stay in the whole town
