Experiencing an authentic Japanese traditional house with Mount Fuji saying good morning to you when you open the window. Our host was also really nice. Overall, we loved our stay.

The location was perfect. Beds were super comfy. Loved the availability of bikes to allow us to cycle to the lake for a closer view of Fuji.

“Incredible Fugi view and authentic place”

It was the most authentic place we stayed in Japan. A real japaneese home. The owner explained us the rules which served us during our stay in Japan. The view of mount Fugi from the window!!!! Honjo gave us bicycles for free to make a tour of the lake. We loved our stay there.

Everything about this stay was so good! It was great to stay in a traditional Japanese home, having tea at the low table in a room with a tatami was an activity in itself. The futons were super comfortable, and the room also had a fridge, microwave, kettle etc. The best part about the room was the view of Mount Fuji, in the morning we had a coffee on the terrace/balcony with an amazing view and it was just perfect. The host is also super nice, he told us about things going on in the local area that we otherwise would not have known about and also offered bikes (which we would have accepted if we were staying for longer). He gave us instructions for getting the bus to the accommodation (which is only around 20 minutes from Kawaguchiko station), and also gave us a ride there when we were checking out. We wish we could have stayed here longer!

We loved the room we stayed in, everything was very tidy and well organized. The Host also lent my friends and I a few bikes so that we could better explore the area. The Host also clearly labeled any and all instructions we would need for the house (like the shower switch) which made our stay super smooth.

The owner and his wife helped us in different ways. Even with a health issue. The owner built a perfect ofuro (Japanese bath) on the balcony. It was highly appreciated. There is a Lawson in walking distance.

We are lucky to be able to view mount fuji from the room. The room is on the first floor and the host stay at ground level. Quiet and serene place. The host is friendly and explained to us the nearest places for food, groceries, mall. There is plenty of parking outside but need to walk into a narrow lane to get to the house. I don't recommend bringing trolley luggages because need to carry up the staircase. This place is walkable to Kawaguchiko Asama Shrine and Haha no Shirataki Waterfall.

“Wonderful stay in Fuji”

It’s a charming and unique Japanese house, incredibly cozy, and offering unforgettable views of FujiSan. We slept on futons that were exceptionally comfortable. The apartment is well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a fridge and a microwave. The highlight was the owner, a kind and friendly gentleman who assisted us and offered excellent advice on local excursions. He even provided bicycles so we could easily explore the town center. Truly a highly recommended experience.

“Splendid Mt. Fuji view with an exceptional hospitality”

This is the perfect place for those who seeking a calm and peaceful staying in such an over tourism city like Kawaguchiko. It is such a good experience to in this Japanese traditional style room and I could get a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji just right at the room window. I also borrowed a bicycle to go around the lake and visit some nearby towns. The hospitality I had got from the host is really exceptional. His warm welcoming and thoughtfulness make me feel relaxed during my stay. I will be happy to stay here again, if I have a change to visit Mt. Fuji.

This place located a bit far from train station BUT the place is so serene, clean, comfortable with mount fuji view and traditional japanese concept bedroom futon style. Furthermore the owner hospitability is so kind and friendly. He explained to us briefly about the house rules and information that we need to know and also kindly offer us a ride to train station after we checked out. Let me remind you, as this place a bit far from the train station, you need to take bus to go here. Also there is washing machine with fee for you to use at the accomodation but you need to let the owner know first. The bathroom and toilet are outside your bedroom, it's shared with another bedroom, so if you are muslim girl, don't forget to bring your instant hijab unless you book 2 bedroom altogether so you will get private bathroom and toilet. I like this place very much, at least should go for 3 days 2 nights if you consider to stay at mount fuji area. Also there's also bike if you want to do some cycling activity!! There're lawson, hoto fudo restaurant, vegan friendly cafe nearby the accomodation around 1km-1.5km. Bonus: a cute kuro live there🐈‍⬛
