Renovated in October 2017 and located in Oishi, 47 km from Hakone, Pension Lanpou features free WiFi throughout the property and hot spring bath. Free private parking is available on site. Bicycles that are convenient for sightseeing are rented free of charge to guests staying consecutive nights. (Limited number) At Pension Lanpou, guests can enjoy the extraordinary life. Forget the bustle of the city and enjoy watching deer and listening to Scaly Thrush's chirping at night. Please accept sincere apologies for guests who enjoy going out or having fun in the room at night. The shared bathrooms and shared toilets include toothbrushes, towels and bath amenities. Certain rooms have private bathrooms. All rooms feature a garden view. Shared lounge features dining area with a microwave, oven toaster, boiling pot. The hot spring bath is separated by time between gender, while guests can also enjoy open-air bath. Pension Lanpou is planted with more than 100 kinds of plants, and you can enjoy the garden throughout the four seasons. The cherry blossoms in April, the wisteria in May, and the maple leaves in November are especially spectacular. Fuji is 41 km from Pension Lanpou, while Kofu is 19 km away.

We had the onsen just for ourselves, pretty peaceful place and the owner even let us pick the bycicles despite only staying for a single night. Super friendly.

The rock onsen is amazing. But must of all is the kindness of the host! We had a great time around Mt Fuji.

“Clean and comfortable and excellent service”
Our room was simple and comfortable with amenities provided such as towels, hot water, fridge, hair dryer, toothbrush. Sink, toilet, shower/bath facilities are shared between all the guests but everything is clean and bathing times are time-separated by gender. The highlight is the owner, who was very kind and accommodating to our needs. He went out of his way to take care of us and to make sure we have a good stay.
