“Charming villa with private onsen”
Wonderfully charming villa with a private onsen bath. Multiple options for sleeping and plenty of room for the 4 of us, but be aware that there is very little privacy between rooms. The lady that met us for check in was so lovely and gave us a tour of the cottage and all its amenities. No views of Mt Fuji from the main floor but could get a slight glimpse over the trees from the top floor. BBQ options are available onsite but must be requested a day in advance, so we werent able to try it out on our two night stay. Wish we would have stayed longer!

“Beautiful peaceful stay in Kawaguchiko”
Beautiful spacious clean accommodation. Excellent location, peaceful, but super handy between beautiful lake and bus station. Host was kind and welcoming. Provate onsen was spectacular. We hope to return.

“Authentic and luxurious”
Loved the interior and the overall maintenance. It's crazy the host even gave new sheets and towels for each day for the number of nights we stayed.

Big, comfortable space for 5 people. Private onsen is fantastic although didn't have fuji view. Staff was very friendly and it's located near the lake and a bus stop. 10 minute walk from the station.

“A wonderful villa with outdoor spa. Clean and spacious.”
The outdoor spa was lovely. It’s not big but two people can just fit. The villa was large enough to have space for yourself and there were shops and restaurants nearby. It felt like a private sanctuary. They provided kimonos which was very nice. The reception was very nice.

Beautiful spacious house..very good beds...very nice staff at reception...and the private onsen is THE BEST. Looks small but 2 adults fit in.

Spacious, very clean, lots of attention to detail. Would replace our towels and even the bathroom mat daily. Warm, can control AC/heater easily and also has underfloor heating. Comfy futons, pillow is a bit hard but I think that’s just the Japanese style. Was fine to sleep on. Outdoor bath was lovely to relax in after a long day exploring. Highly recommend!

“Brilliant stay”
Beautiful house, warm and lots of space. We had the property at the end and couldn’t believe our luck when we saw the view of Mount Fuji from the patio! We loved the smell of the wood when you walk through the door. The staff were absolutely lovely.

“amazing”
everything was amazing. japanese villa / cottage was beautiful and superb! gives off a good ryokan feel without having to pay for a high price. villa has ample space. our villa could fit 6 adults and 2 childs comfortably. outdoor hot bath was an added welcome. the reception lady was super amazing. she allowed us to store our luggages before check in and after check out. she also helped to call taxis for our group of 12 travellers (counted our luggages to make sure they could fit in the taxis). she made sure the taxis arrived on time and managed the process with us, (at some point standing under the light rain herself).
